Looks cool :D

I would call it: "waiting for the train" hahahaha

'Look Ma, no hands!'

Cool, try a Google reverse image search...

I'd call it "Before Social Distancing".

I like the art of Ingo Swann, though I learned about him through a different topic. Don't own a copy but a visualization of the idea of consciousness I'd consider if I come across something affordable.

And thanks OP, nice idea for a thread! This forum needs a break.

Nice

I swear I have seen that kind of artwork in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

If you really are wanting to know artist and maybe this link to an art gallery who specializes in Southwest Art and such and shoot them a inquiry with picture of it, perhaps they can help you out.

Great piece you have there. :yup:

I like it. :)

Guy seems to rather adopt various styles than concentrating on his own. Found mentions of a travelling art student in Australia and in France, also maybe working under various names (e.g. N. Biton). Timeframe seems to be 10 to 15 years ago. Most pictures seem to go for 10 to 25 USD, which seems a bit of a shame. Ebay has some.

This one in related style prices at about 650 USD (on Ebay, that is, therefore no guarantees for accurate pricing):

Funny one, too...

Not much help here:
Has anybody heard of the painter named D. Colo?

Very interesting that it has a different signature. Guy (gal?) cant decide what his/her name is. ;)

Attributed to a Benyamin Long, an artist from Israel.

Still like the D. Colo one, though... :)

Thank you for mentioning Benjamin Long of Israel.
The original version of Five Standing Men by B. Long is at The University of Reading (UK)
https://artuk.org/discover/artworks/five-standing-men-27541

This artist D. Colo appears to have an ever changing signature and style of painting.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/23x27-ORIG...ORAL-VASE-ON-TABLE-SIGNED-D-COLO/153877730751
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Original-Oil-On-Canvas-River-Scene-Signed-D-Colo-24x21-Ins/174205169909

But D. Colo's version of Five Standing Men has interesting unique changes and a distinctly different painting style from the original by B. Long that stops it from being labelled fake or reproduction and give it something compelling, perhaps even more so then the original. We don't know if D. Colo is male or female but I would probably guess that old Ebay listing has a ring of truth to it.

"THE PAINTINGS IN THIS LOT LIKELY CAME FROM ASIA AND ARE AT LEAST 15 YEARS OLD. MANY ARE REPRODUCTIONS OF FAMOUS WORKS. ALL ARE VERY WELL DONE AND ARE ON HEAVY CANVAS AND TEXTURE OF PAINT IN VISIBLE IN MOST CASES."

It is done well enough that I wonder if the old ebay links (broken) below were for the same painting?
"ORIGINAL ABSTRACT ART SPAINISH OIL PAINTING BY D. COLO"
"USD $1,320.00 Or buy it now USD $1,650.00"

Note: There are a lot of extremely talented painters in countries like China, who sadly only get to paint near exact reproductions.

Very accurately put. Goes for the dog painting, too, imho. Would not want to take anything away from the original artists who conceived those motives and pictures, though. However, that D. Colo person has a certain unique take on things and also seems to know what he is doing, when copying.

Had been referring to this one:

$_35.JPG

According to offer: »Two original paintings, N Biton and D Colo. Bought from traveling artist. Paid 400 for them both. Happy to take 100.« (AUD that is.)

Both pictures are so alike, it seems safe to presume the same artist. Who probably would be the traveller himself.

i'd like to see some more of these ... google kinda limited there...

If you google for "d. colo" & "painting" you get quite an idea of his range. Can′t help thinking of Denver, Colorado...
