Hey Everyone,

Just want to say that I feel at fault for the recent decision by MindArk to prevent future events that utilize a fully randomized prize distribution system.

My intention was not to see it go this way, I feel terrible. I have always enjoyed casinos and my time spent in Las Vegas, playing cards and other games. As such, those things have had an influence on the themes I have chosen to go with recently.

My latest events have carried those themes too far it seems. If I've made it more difficult to be a Land Area owner w/ events, I'm sorry. I love this game. I love this community, and this is not the type of mark I want to leave. I want to help grow the game, grow the event support, and create and contribute to everyone's experience here. I never wanted to see things turn out this way for me or other participants, forcing MA's hand to shut down these types of events.

MindArk, I am sorry. I will structure my future events to abide by the EULA terms as pointed out by Ludvig today, in 2.1. I will also reach out to you by support case, should I have a question about whether or not my events meet your requirements.

For now, I'll hang my head in shame, as I know I was one of the direct causes of this recent announcement.

I'm truly sorry guys. :(

*feeling really sheepish right now*

Not your fault. There are players in fort Ithaca doing roll scams.

Apology really not necessary. All you were trying to do was add some extra level of excitement which this game desperately needs.

Lol, I would not take it personally. It could do will with new laws and MA is just protecting their own arse on this one.

No one likes you!!!!

No need to feel bad about it.

In accordance with that section of the EULA, the following policy will be in effect and enforced starting on May 1, 2020:

They wrote 1st of May, your events was ok with old regulations at today, they even closed the new one too early :D

Dont feel bad, I get the distinct impression that MA have decided to clarify and clean up some of the activities that have been going on for far too long 'under the radar'

I just hope all those brother and cousin accounts have photo ID....

I have used the random factor for months on all my events. No need to be sorry.

Lets work our best to find a way with this and still provide nice events!

I forgive u :bandit:

I think this thread needs some music.
She even looks a bit like you Ms Pudding :)

All it does is clarify the game is time based return. I'm quite pleased as I was starting to wonder if MA did have some sort of new gambling algorithm running, as they allowed these events to run.

On the bright side, MA have addessed issues, before being instructed too by any regulators. Which is a wise business
decision. No apology required really.

Good luck with new events.

Rick
