Got myself a Fen weapon a month ago to play with to see what i been missing, was able to finally maxed a week or so ago and got a 2k hof at end of April. Thought it would be a perfect time to start a Log in May with a clean slate.

Looking to cycle 2-5k ped a day and see how it goes!

Also, i'm just mid level hunter. level 30 looter skill, best armor i got is a ghost hence limited mob selection

Weapon: Thorifoid Berserker Mace + amp 8 mod
Armor: ghost

Yes, I'm using the Thorifoid Mace Fen edition, with a summer ring 2018 and Ares improved (need to upgrade)

May 4th

Started off pretty bad with absolutely no global for.... a long time. But I guess it was building up to an HOF! 743!

Normal hunting day. Wouldn't mind days like this, with MU it's almost breakeven. I'm ready for my kickback anyday now MA. Next step is to improve MU and get a better ring.

TT in: 7603.58
TT out: 7212.45
Result: -391.13 (94.85%)

Cumulative: -1729.51 (95.32%)

Nice log. Do you mind including HP of the mob you're hunting?

I mix it up sometimes so it's too much work to track. But mostly 600-1000hp mobs.

May 7th:

TT in: 3744.42
TT out: 3833 (100.02%)
Result: +88.58

Cumulative: -1641.03 (95.97%)
Only 2 globals today, yet return was significantly better. I like where the trend is going, will tomorrow be the hof day? stay tuned.

Nice thread, interesting to read. I wonder do you have any thoughts on the relationship between Run Size (i.e. TT in) and TT/net returns? I've found lately that by increasing my run size, my returns are more likely to be in the 90% range. Sadly though I don't have the PEDs to cycle big runs, I can only do 600-1000ped at a time.

Interested to hear your thoughts as you have much larger cycles.

when running a log, lets say u have 1k peds of ammo to shoot, and you want to extend the run. when ammo starts to get low convert an even amount of shrapnel, lets say 500ped worth if your doing 1k ped runs, then u can add 505 ped to your ammo spent, and 500 ped to your loot. works with any amount, just easier to do round numbers.

then when the run is completed, you log is still correct, and you have extended your run 500 ped. do this 2 times and you have doubled your run.

hope this helps, and sorry don't mean to go off topic too much.

Longer runs will help stabilize the returns, just give you a chance to hopefully play in a period of good returns which no one knows when. Rarely see a very bad day turn around the same day though, usually get the kickback in later days. I keep my runs to 500-800 ped range and when i see a sub 80% run, take a break to play later. Dry spells can last a few hours.

May 8th:

note: Big MU kicked in :) now just waiting on a tt loot kickback, fingers crossed. The journey continues.

No complains today. everything within expected parameter, I like the low volatility.
Will be updating this log every 50k ped cycled from now. So around every week or so.

Week 2 of May

stayed mainly with smaller mobs for the kill count. No big HOFs yet, just a few 300s range. Did a decent portion of cycling in Zip's landareas for the generous bonuses. Still waiting on a 4-5 digit HOF, i can feel it around the corner

week 3-4 of May

Well it happened. A decent Hof of 1376 almost the same day as April. Maybe I'm just luckier by end of month. I included some LA event wins cause... well why not if i'm paying taxes on it then it should count as MU

Cleaned up sheet a bit, got rid of some things that i don't need to track anymore and added a automarkup calculation sheet. Just dump it loot into excel and will give me a number. Anything to help me track faster :)

i'm ready for a period of crap loot after this... bring it on...

TT in: 48752.32
TT out: 48309.76 (99.09%)
Result: -442.56

Total cycled in May: 145,016
Cumulative MAY 2020: -3768.25 (97.4%)
After MU: +466.18

Doing Monthly Update instead:

June was just soso, didn't hit anything big so TT is slightly lower than previous cycle. Got 2 small ESI though so that's pretty good considering latest MU on those. As always I calculate MU on the lower end so still happy with the result since i don't need to deposit.

June-

179 runs, average 1 hour per entry

TT in: 98208.05
TT out: 94192.31 (95.91%)
Result: -4015.74

After MU: +223.42

July Result:

another crappy month overall, migration brought noticeable less return, i regret the hunts I had on Caly which all resulted in losses. I'm of the opinion that since we are competing with each other and there are many more highly skilled with better weapon on caly that they drain the pool more.

171 runs

TT in: 119658.37
TT out: 114529.49(95.71%)
Result: - -5128.88

After MU: -1128.36
