Suggestion: jpg screenprints

screenprints used to be jpg files. Now they are png files.... makes uploading them to gallery here a bit of a hassle to convert over to jpg first, etc. Mindark, why'd you change this and are you going to change it back or give us an option in client loader to save screenprints to either format in the future?

You can choose to have them saved as JPG or PNG, check Options / Graphics Advanced.

There is a drop down box there (Screenshot Format)

nice tip. Thanks. Not sure why they don't put that in client loader tools so it's easier to find...
 
PNG files are restricted on PCF because they can, in rare cases, contain viruses or other malware, while the risk of that is pretty much non-existent for JPG and GIF.

Hm I thought they used the .png suffix for other type of files to hide malware rather
than a true a png file containing malware?
No add ons that can detect this?
