Fast Trade : a time-saving tool to scan recourses from ingame trade window

Data base updated... 301 recognizable materials from 374 (80.48%) Full list here

  • Added Generic Components
  • Fixed a few materials




PS: try not to hide the trade window with any other window (including Fast trade's window)... if you do so, the program will not be able to scan the mats and will send them to me as unrecognized... Then i will have to run through the received data one by one to separate the good data from the useless one... and that can be very time consuming.
 
no trade window

HI, i have some strange problem, i start program but it says: ERR: Can not find trade window....all the time, it is not covered with other, i even try compatibility 2000, turn off aero...nothing helps, even safe mode eu...can you help?

i can even give you access to my pc ;)

Make sure the trade window have the focus... FT can not find transparent trade windows.

Let me know if this resolve the problem.

This gonna happen alot that the tool not recognizing materials. So maybe a filter will be neede for you. The more mats in the trade windows the ofter it happens that mat are not recognized, thats because off the scrolling becomes more and more difficult then.

Iam clicking on trade window when i press scan...no help, can you connect to my pc ;) i have team viewer ;)

Wow, you've been really busy with this and it hopes your work is helping a lot of people :).

Anyway, sorry for my slow answers, lately i've been really busy since me and Minduina had a little boy :).

My OS on this computer is windows Vista. I'll try the program in another computer which uses Xp and then report back. Thanks for the time!

Solved, dont know what was reason...but how do i know what can be recognised, is there some setting?
For example around 15% of items dont recognise for now, for example iron ingot, muscle oil, animal hide...
do you need a list or? how can i help?

As baekelal pointed out (thanks) there's a list in first post (the list)

How you can help: you can report bugs, post suggestions... anything you wanna say about Fast trade you can post it here :).
And also by using FT on unrecognized materials, because that will allow me to have access to the data i need to make them recognizable.
 
yes...but muscle oil is in list as working...why it wont work for me ;(

Are other mats working?

if it's just muscle oil that doesn't work, it's probably because I made a mistake somewhere... Scan it a few times so I receive the data I need to fix it.

PS: you need to check "Allow sending information" under Options (checked by default).
 
I got it working finally :).
I cannot get it to update though. The list only contains ores and enmaters. And it cannot detect the trade window. Do i have to adjust gamma or something? Or is it just something that will be solved by updating it?

:scratch2: which version are you using? make sure you are using v3.2.0 the latest version, you can download it from here www.fast-trade.webs.com

Gamma only changes in full screen mode... you need to be in window mode to use FT.

Make sure the trade window have the focus... FT can not find transparent trade windows.
 
Iam sending you all data i scan....do i need to update database? i have 3.2.0 version i think ;)

Somthing wrong with the web hosting again, i get "This Account Has Been Suspended" message even though the data base still works. So Fast Trade can work, but I don't know for how long... the list is not accessible anymore.

The guy that was providing this free hosting has disappeared... so i'm gonna have to bump this thread.
 
I know why it didn't work :). I downloaded it through windows explorer, and it saved it as a zip file. However, when using google chrome, all is ok, and it is a jar file. My version was 2.2, now 3.2. I'll check it out right away.
 
Had a few times problem scanning gold stone. Maybe it should replaced.

Hopefully you got a solution for the free web hosting. Sorry but nothing i can think about.:scratch2:
 
Sorry cant help too....its gr8 tool, but so many ores/enmaters cant be find ;S, hope that will improve...i scan it regulary...so hoping u get info
 
From my experience with the tool i can tell it's best you don't have more then 20-25 different things in trade screen. If you have more the scrolling because very difficult so fast trade can scan the stuff.

Most ore -enm working for me except the "special" ones. ( ruga, dunkel, rocktropia stuff ).
From the normal ones still have a problem with gold stone and gold ingots.

Fast trade doesnt send any addition info other than the needed one to make a mat recognizable... so i have no idea who sent what. But if it says that it sent something in the log, I'm pretty sure I received it :)

Gold is a pain in the ass :mad: I've fixed it twice before and its still not working... its kinda driving me crazy!
 
Hi, I have very good news today friends :D

In the last few days I've spent alot of time on FT, I'm not done yet but I got alot of the work done :yay: v3.3.0 is getting closer ;)

711 accepted to host my site on his server, it's the same server that hosts EF and ET... Huge thank you to 711 and Starfinder :hug:

Stable server and new version :)

Had a problem yesterday: FT din't start anymore, thought first it was server but Ft worked on other computer. Found out that i had a corrupt save.txt. After few min found out that one mineral was listed without an abriaviation in the text file. Changed it and back to bussines :)

( gold ingot still not working )

I've been spending much time on FT lately. Unless I encounter some unexpected problems, v3.3.0 will be released soon... some feature will be removed but, will be reimplemented later (like abbreviations and editing markups in the middle of a trade...)
 
Good news, the next release is almost done... I still have to add the final touches and move the database to the new site.

Gratz on the the new version !!
I do hope abbreviations and for sure editing mu's in middle of trade will come back soon as it is almost impossible to use it without the editing function..

Fast Trade 3.3.0 Beta is now available at http://fast-trade.webs.com/

Changed :
  • Materials in the trade table are not stacked anymore... example: the same material added twice to a trade will show as 2 different stacks in 2 different rows.
  • Fast Trade no longer uses quantity to calculate the final value, in stead it uses the stack TT value.

New:
  • Check boxes added to Edit Panel to filter materials according to the type.
  • Text field added to Edit Panel to filter materials according to the name (not working very well atm, and it's case sensitive).
  • When editing a markup value, the cell's content is automatically selected, so you wont have to delete anything, and you can still see the initial value.
  • Edit table is now sorted alphabetically.
  • Materials name drop box is now sorted alphabetically.
  • Colors added to TTvsTT (red when different, green when the same) (calculated TT value shows an inaccurate value sometimes, I'm aware of this problem).

Removed: But will be reintroduced little by little
  • Abbreviations
  • Hot-keys
  • Help
  • Contact panel
  • Editing markups in the middle of a trade
  • Editing markups from the trade table
  • Export to .TXT and export to .CSV


PS: Save file is now named "fast_trade_save.txt"... the old save files might not work, but I'm not very sure as i didn't give it much thought. Anyway, it's better to start fresh with a new file.

Did short test with the tool.
The new features are awesome imo, but they seems not to work properly. Checking/ uncheckin types off material does not update correct the edit list view.
Editing Markup is very easy now :), thx for changing that.

Planned to trade this evening i let you know my remarks ;)

I'm glad you liked it :)

About the check boxes, its a stupid mistake, I've changed something and forgot to change it back... anyways, should be working fine in v3.3.1
