Update on Facebook:
Today some changes were made to Next Island. These changes include;
-Changes to some TP locations (they will need to be rediscovered)
-Addition of maturities for some creatures.
-Addition of TP's across the entire Next Island for better access.
-Multiple creature spawn locations have been reworked.
-Crystal Center has been removed.
Fixes:
-Staircase inside the cave leading to Crystal Peak no longer requires an avatar to be a giant to climb.
-New player healer mission works now (crafting one doesn't)
-New player pistol from the mission now has SIB.
Known issues:
-Error 0 issue with certain missions which can be fixed by abandoning the mission in question and retaking it.
More will come in the official VU notes released later.

Just a suggestion.
A map screenshot with all those tp's on it, will be very helpful for someone who might want to get 'em all.
 
I use a program called Entropia Locations (http://www.entropialocations.eu/) to give me a graphical reference while I play. Below is the exported .csv for the teleporters on Next Island.

I've not found any TP's in the new area just revives. It may be that TP's and services will be added at the revive points later on.

There was some download for NI in the last update. Any idea what changes / additions have been made? I've not noticed any myself.

I'm on Calypso actually, I've seen around 79Mb download, also. did you check NPCs? it should be some NPCs that have something new maybe? dunno:scratch2:

There's nothing new in the mission NPC. Not really had time to look around checking everything.

You have probably found the newset TP already, but this is the only one I know of in the new area:

Teleport changed its name [130474, 93474, 120] Biggle Bog to Daudaormur Bog.
Teleport [137646, 83547, 115] Boar Field no longer exists.
