Amethera TPs the Easy way

I know that this is kind of lame to do and some people will call me a spoil sport but I made a 'cheat' map so to speak with details on how to get the TPs on Amethera and Eudoria. I hope that new players can use this to explore Calypso with less stress. It can be really frustrating if you dont know the location of cities or the safest route away from atrox that can smell you from miles. Hopefully you will have some experience with the radar and creature aggression. I cant school you on getting your ass kicked, so I recomend going outside Port Atlantis and play with some creatures to learn.

How to use the Map:

There are RED Circles with numbers in them. These are journeys that are detailed below. The Teleporters ( TP ) are the large Torquoise Circle icons. The little Tree looking icons are Land Area ( LA ) Markers which will have a revive terminal on them. There are many places that you DO NOT want to revive. But sometimes death is a great taxi to new places. The Skull and Crossbones means you can die here and be teleported to your next point on your journey. Its best to avoid mobs (moving objects) by keeping them off the inner circles of your radar (65m). Water is your friend. If a mob is following you then get into some water and it will die after a few seconds. Also travel by water is great but avoid the Rippersnappers. They dont bite out of water.

If you have some money then here is what I recommend bringing on your adventure.
- Jester with ammo for small mobs - you should avoid first
- FAP 5
- Mining Equipment (enmatter detector, energy extractor, probes) - I say this becasue I made 800 ped from getting new TPs and dropping probes on the way ;)
- Pixie armor or better
* You can do this without any of the above items. But if you got a few peds I recommend dropping a few bombs on the Land Areas.

* Starting your Journey *
*******************

First of all, you should venture onto Treasure Island ( TI ). In the teleporter select 'Change Continent' at the bottom right. Then on the Left side there is only 1 location on the list. Select that Teleporter and then press the Red button under the words Navigator. You are now on TI. Treasure Island is NOT PVP (player versus player) and no one can shoot you. But other areas are and you will be told.

1. Journey from TI central TP to the TI North East Estates TP
Destination: 230, 265
Difficulty: Easy
Time: 5 - 15 mins
PVP: No
This is a simple journey. Run north from the TP. You will pass the castle on the left and some houses on the right. Once above the house area make a North East direction on your radar. There are atrax young that will become aggressive from the outer circle or 65m on radar. There are not many and you can easily avoid them. There are also Trooper robots. These will kill you instantly. If you are confronting many creatures in your path then I recommend steering East to the cost. Remember that using water is a safe method of travel. When you get close you should start to see the Hangars if you are far east on the coast.

2. Journey from TI central TP to TI City TP
Destination: 185, 218
Difficulty: Easy
Time: 15 - 25
PVP: No
Run straight West from the TI TP to the coast. You will pass a couple of Exosaur and bristlehogs. These wont attack unless you get close. Once you reach the coast follow it South until you reach the city. On your journey you will encounter atrox young and Second Entity. Make sure to swim out of range if they get close. DO NOT let Second Entity get within 65m. These will be red dots from the very 150m range of the radar. Once you get south far enough you will see Allophyl creatures. Avoid them if possible. Death here should bring you to the city but not always.

3. Journey from TI City to Genesis Amethera Headquarters
Destination: 169, 199
Difficulty: Easy
Time: 5 -10 mins
PVP: Yes but not in city limits
Run south and a little east until you see an island joining the land. Follow these joining islands south east until you reach the destination coords. There are some rippersnapper mobs and they can be avoided by NOT letting them on radar while in water. This is a simple journey.

4. Journey from Genesis Amethera to SA-16 TP
Destination:129, 105
Difficulty: Medium
Time: 45 - 90 mins if you die
PVP: Yes but not at the TP
This is a complex journey but is well worth it. Run south from the City and swim across the water. Avoid the rippersnapper red dots. When you reach the other side follow the coast south west until you get a RED warning warning that the server responsible for this area is unavailable. Turn south and run. Continue for about 5 mins and then turn west and run to the border again. When you get the red message turn south and run. There are not many mobs or ores on a server border so it is quite safe. When you get to the area between LA-4 and SA-11 you will see Caudegus, Exosaur and Equis. Avoid teh equis. Avoid all mobs as death will take you to a Land Area revive and this can be complex. SA-11 is not n00b friendly with the harsh amount of argonauts.

5. Center way point on Journey 4.
Turn west here and travel between the Land Areas. There are few mobs such as Equis, Respilex, Exo, Caudegus and maybe trilomites. Once you have reached the area North of the SA-16 TP, jsut run south. Death will not set you back in this Shed Area. From the Shed revive just run south to the Journey 4 destination.

6. Journey from SA-16 TP to Omegaton West Habitat
Destination: 102, 106
Difficulty: Easy
Time: 5 mins
PVP: Yes but not at the TP
This is a short simple journey. Run straight west. You will see Fungoids at the far edge of your radar. Avoid them. The TP is in the center area of the city.

7. Journey from Omegaton to Memorial Island
Destination: 714, 756
Difficulty: Easy
Time: 10 -20 mins
PVP: Yes but not in the city limits, TP and Memorial Island
This is a simple journey and only a few Equis and Rippersnapper to avoid. AVOID LA-7 totally as you will die fast and end up very far. The mobs in this area are tough. Venture south west from Omegaton and steer clear of LA-7 and all mobs. If you die you will either be in LA-7 or SA-13. Neither is nice to adventure out of.

8. Journey from Memorial Island to LA-11
Destination: 402, 926
Difficulty: Easy
Time: 5 - 10 mins
PVP: Memorial Island is not PVP nor the TPs
From the Memorial Island TP run North West. There are no mobs on Memorial island. You will encounter the odd rippersnapper in the water. Avoid them. Once you reach the island shores you can take the death taxi to the revive.

9. Journey from LA-11 to LA-10
Destination: 454, 336
Difficulty: Easy
Time: 10 - 20 mins
PVP: Not at the TPs
This journey has only one complexity. You must reach the coast by heading south or east from the TP. There are ceresumon and mermoth that will kill you. Avoid them. Once you get to the coast you can swim the rest of the way. Avoid the rippersnappers in the water. Once you reach the coast of LA-10 island you can die or travel the coast on the west side heading south until you get to the TP.

10. Journey from SA-16 TP to the middle of no where
Destination: 190, 860
Difficulty: Hard
Time: 30 - 90 mins if you die
PVP: Not at TPs
This journey is not easy but compared to going by the route near the TP south of TI, it is preferable. See *Note on X below.
Head east from the TP. Once you have entered into LA-6 try to die. You will encounter respilex, equis, caudegus, exo and Thorio. Make sure you are in the Land Area before you die. You will revive across the LA and can venture south east without much trouble.

11. Jounrey Waypoint from Journey 10
There are many atrox guards here. Try to steer north and run the border of LA-17 and LA-8. There are some Caudegus, Exo, small atrox and gradivores. Try to avoid all mobs and the journey will be smooth. However there is a strong chance you will die so dont freak out. Both revive terminals are easy to come from.

12. Journey from middle of nowhere to LA-9 TP
Destination: 203, 460
Difficulty: Medium
Time: 10 - 20 mins
PVP: Not at the TPs
Leaving the TP head south east. There are loads of atrox young and caudegus dominants here. This is a bit complicated. Head east around them and then steer south. Avoid LA-18 as there are occulus and kingfisher which are not friendly to new players. Once you get out of the LAs it is a simple run. On the beach/sand area east of the TP there are Allolophyl. Avoid them.

If you die in LA-14 then it might be easy to travel south from the revive to Sakura city and use the outside of the LA to travel. The travel from Sakura to LA9 TP.

13. Journey from LA9 TP to Sakura City
Destination: 232, 565
Difficulty: Easy
Time: 5 - 10 mins
PVP: Not at the TPs or City
This is a simple journey. Head east from LA9 TP and steer north of the lake. You will encounter some trilomites and Allo. Avoid them. Avoid this Lake as it is filled with rippersnapper. It is easier to travel on land here.

14. Jounrey from Genesis Amethera Headquarters to LA-1 TP
Destination: 211, 171
Difficulty: Easy
Time: 15 - 30 mins
PVP: Not at the TPs or City
The only complexity with this journey is keeping the Falx mobs at distance. They appear at the far end of radar and should be kept there. LA-16 is not owned by anyone so the population is low. Journey south east from Genesis City and head towards the destination. Rememebr to keep the falx mobs at range and it will be easy.

*Note on Area X
This area is NOT advised to travel through. The reason is that at the bottom of LA-2 and LA-15 is dense fog and some tough Thorifoids. They do 145 dmg. If you die and you most likely will, you end up at the LA-15 revive. Then once you manage to get south of that LA, there are loads of Argonauts espically Hunters. Once you die you end up at SA-11 which is not a nice place to be trapped. If you make it out you will have to face the medium atrox, medium longus or tough atrax. If you make it past that and not died once then you are uber n00b.

I also have a map of Eudoria but I havent written the text for it yet. I will try to do that some time soon.

I am sure that many people have their own routes but this comes from running n00bs over the past 6 months. If any of the nerds feel that this is all wrong and can provide a better map then feel free to spend the time making the map rather than typing rubbish in a post. ;)

Adventurer's have passed safe routes of passage on to each other for centuries, book stores are simply full of them. This is what a forum is all about, the sharig of knowledge. +reppies for you:)

Excellent guide Jove!

As amethera changes it may need some minor tweaks though - for example cutting straight through LA-16 could be difficult if whoever claims it next puts in some nasty stuff.

Also the TI area will need some minor tweaks once new DNA starts rolling into the system ;)
There will still be clear paths, but they'll involve a bit more skirting of the spawn borders.

Unfortunately i have all TP´s on my map , but with this great work its easy to go the safe way all time.

Cheers guys. This map will be organic and I will keep up to date as much as I can :)

I hunt/mine most LAs and Sheds regularly and will keep an eye on the spawns. I will also watch for new things on TI and amend as necessary. Sometimes I take for granted that a second entity only does me 132 dmg whereas a new player gets 175 :(
 
No cheating or lame-ing (is that a word? o_O) here if you ask me. This map could help not only newbies, but also people who don't have all the teleports yet. :)

Nice map, I made a similar for some teleports on Eudoria once when the mob density increased to immense. :)

You can find the correct names of the mobs in my signature if you want to correct the spelling errors.

Too bad those tp's are just complexes. :(

I know some TPs are a bit tough. There are shorter routes through Land Areas but you need some firepower and skills to kick ass and get past.

Maybe if enough people are having trouble in certain places we can organise an EF TP run and tear right through the LAs and Sheds.

Plus this will earn a little tax on the way for some land owners ;)

very noob, getting the TPs on ameth was one of the most enjoyable things I've ever done in PE! just like getting them when I started but I didnted my ass get owned by exo youngs ;)
 
I think this is an great idea, and like many people said before, and I'll say again. Is this not what the forums are all about? Sharing info with each other :cool:

I was surprised when reading this - that is the route I took to get to the southern teleporters. Despite being a long haul and having to avoid a lot of mobs, I did not die and made it to the teleport okay.

ah, i never saw that map before, sooo cool, when i get my funds in again, im getting all of those tps finally, ive only been over there a few times, and last time i went, i got stuck for quite a while, that map is gonna help loads, thanks
