I do not like the new popcorn sound on blp AT ALL, period.

i heartily agree...its not just that the sound aint appealing..but with the old sound i had some sort of rythm...now i cannot gte into the rythm of firing,it just seems off

and also..what an lame hofsound..old hofsound gave me chills..new one dont do anything for me
 
I too do not really like to new BLP sound but i think thye will fix all that in time (mining sounds wimpy too imo)

My real question is why does HL6 - a laser wep - make a re-coil sound ? it shoots laser beams not bullets? Am I wrong here or not remembering the old sound ?

anyway sounds are not my biggest concern - i would like to play it and see the graphics on high settings but not gonna buy another new PC until i know bugs are fixed
 
You have my vote, remove pea shooting sounds with bad-ass shooting sounds.
 
The sound are kinda lame. They should have just given us higher quality versions of the same sounds and EU 9.4... But some are good as well.
 
Mining bomb ore sounds like car back firirng!!!

Laser guns suck but bearable. graphix rock there tho :)

BLP I want to sell my ML35ME sounds to weak now!!!! :scratch2:
 
I think new BLP sounds are great and dont wabt them to change. Finally sound is shorter than reload period on some wepons wchich is great couse u dont lose "rhytm" during shooting.

But Mining bomb sound is "to weak" and i can agree in that mater. In vu9.4 when mining bomb exploded u knew that "something important is going to happen"
 
I need some sort of sound for the global. I mean... i dont even know i got a glboal...

actually, MA can (they have done it before) synchronize the ra-ta-ta-ta-ta exactly with the reload time. I suppose that would be just perfect.

yep, but untill then whta we have now is beter than what we had before :)
 
I enjoyed the old one more.
I don't mind laser gun sound and plasma is the same.

Bombs sound bad... I want the old sound back!
But I am glad my ground doesn't shake when I drop bombs :)

LOL I had 3. None had ANY sounds and only ones I saw the golden stars. Stars came on hunting global, in mining I got XIII and XIV without a sound nor stars, but I got global chat info I had a global :scratch2:
I get hof sounds though so my sondcard is ok. Reported to support.

I need more than a sound update. I can't hear Crits, Globals or HOF.

Totally agree!!! I am having a tough time getting the timing back too. Partly because the tool reload bar never moves for me... it is always full (except for with FAPs).
 
I agree

My urban stalker sounds bad I liked it when it was a long burst. Please bring back the long burst sound for my urban Marco :(
 
My XT sounds like "ps ps ps" a real sissy pistol now
 
New sound is a bit better but I still miss the old ra-ta-ta-ta-ta. It sounded a lot "heavier".
 
Yeh the sissy sounds are really gay. Blp sound was awesome before. Can hardly hear criticals either. ;)

Agree and also agree that global and hofsounds being lame nowdays.:mad:
Vey hard to get into the rythm when firing.
