Hi,
my newest hobby (i.e. PED drain, but not always) is crafting Furniture. As I am also a bit into statistics I am trying to find out how skillgains affect my Carpenter Profession (which is still just below 1).
So far, I have been able to identify the following:
Intelligence (~39%)
Capentry (~30%)
Engineering (~28%)
Machinery (~6%)
Wood Carving (~6%)
Wood Processing (~8%)
Suspected influence
BPC (from Doer's data, ~8% if Computer as no influence)
Computer (not been able to confirm yet)
Identifying your Carpentry profession standing can be done conveniently if you have a (L) Blueprint at your disposal (e.g. one at the auction), that you cannot use yet: You just check under Profession Requirement multiply the skill progress with the recommended level and get your current level. The closer you are to being able to use it, the more accurate the result.
Alternatively, the standard approach of counting pixels on your Professions screen is the way to go (I am happy to do that for you if you post screenies).
If you could post your Carpentry Profession and the skills in bold above, I would be most grateful as I could verify and gain more insights for everybody (ending up on the wiki for sure
). If I missed a skill, please let me know!
Thanks,
Gingko
