Will there always be so many atrax? I know at one time you removed them. They have such a huge aggressive zone that it's hard to mine around them :mad: Maybe I need better armor? But yeah, any plans with the atrax?
 
Gen, you promote your area very well and gratz for doing so.

Have you ever approached MA to include a tp in the area? Besides your LA there is one other LA up there that would benefit greatly with a tp.

I feel it is unfair for LA owners who take the time to promote and maintain their LA not to have the proper facilities provided by MA to ensure the LA is easily reached.

I very much doubt MA will plonk a TP near to OLA32 by my request :mad:

Of course I hope that when Northern Amethera opens up a TP will be placed close by...

At the moment there are no plans to remove the 3 x Atrax DNAs set to Atrax Youngs until at least when I find a additional Fungoid DNAs to replace the Atrax.

Alrighty :) Hopefully someone gets some fungoid hats soon, fungoids seem to have a smaller aggression zone. Thanks for the info.

Gen, I mentioned it ingame thought I would post it here too.

In my opinion you should make a poll about your LA for what maturities and numbers you should set.

My vote is for lets say keep the current DNA`s but maybe
1)Make 1/2 of the Atrax DNA with Mid level maturities
2) Make the Fouls also mid to high level maturities
3)Keep the Fungoids at same numbers and same maturieties
4)Keep the Atrax numbers and maybe raise Foul numbers


just some food for thought

So the question is guys what do we do with the Maturity of the Atrax and Foul? Do we want to make the Maturities at a Medium Level, or leave them as they are?

The Fungoid will have to be left at Max number as Young otherwise it will be impossible for anyone hunting good spawn since you'd have to switch Armour all the time to avoid the huge damage from High Maturity Fungoids. With your normal armour for Atrax with 2C plates you should be good to deal with the Fungoid Youngs. Unfortunately the spawn is not good enough for a Fungoid only LA but I'm working on the DNA parts.

well I`m sure there will be different opinions on this one but my answer is DO set the maturities at Medium Level for Atrax and Foul and keep the fungoids the same.

And if for the future you find more Fungo DNA`s maybe you can make it a Fungo LA only with different maturities.

I think I agree here, Atrax can be about old, not harder! (thinking of the miners too) And the fouls are so low lifed so Old atleast would be great I think. Fungoids, DON'T make them bigger tho have problems as it is allready haha.

Hunting Tax lowered to 3.5%

Hunting Tax has been lowered to 3.5%

There's a huge spawn of Atrax (4 DNA's all active)

Fungoids at max numbers (1 DNA)

Foul at max numbers (1 DNA)

MOB is set at the lowest maturity so as to provide a good hunting spot for the "majority" of Hunters out there.

Take a Bump and i vote for slightly bigger Fouls, hard to gloabl on young. :yay:

BIG Atrax in large numbers - LOWER Hunting tax on OLA32!

OK the people have spoken. In the next few weeks there will only be one MOB type on OLA32 and I have chosen Atrax given that there are already 4 DNA samples on the Land Area.

So why should you visit OLA32 rather than other areas where Atrax exist?

The first reason is the tax on OLA32 for Hunting is now at 3.0%

The second reason is the amazing spawn levels.

I have today activated 2 X Atrax DNA to be set at Maximum Numbers and at at Maximum Maturity... (Atrax Stalkers!)

The other two Atrax DNAs are set at High Maturity (Atrax Alphas / Old Alphas) and High Medium Maturity (Atrax Dominants).

I have UNLOCKED the Fungoid DNA and Foul DNA which are currently at Low Maturity. The numbers for Fungoid and Foul will slowly but surely disappear which wills result in a Atrax ONLY Land Area at HIGH MATURITY and VAST NUMBERS.

Stalkers, Prowlers, Old Alphas, Alphas... :D

Fungoid and Foul DNA has been set to 0 numbers and lowest maturity, only the odd one or two will pop up after the existing spawn have been exterminated.
 
I am thinking who will be able to hunt on such a small OL with 4 active Atrax DNAs set to almost Max Maturity :scratch2:

Atrax Kingdom proving popular!

Looks like Atrax Kingdom - OLA32 is proving to be quite popular with the High Maturity Atrax :yay:

I saw at least three teams blasting away together with a number of individuals - maybe they were participating in the ongoing Treasure Hunt too!

You'll find numerous Atrax Old-Alphas, Alphas and a small number of Atrax Stalkers.

For any "profit" made in tax this will be used to Sponsor Lootius and the ongoing Treasure Hunt. A Rifle skill implant has yet to be found! See details in the Events section of EF.

Remember the Hunting tax is 3.0% :D

Oh and the Mining tax is 3.0% :D

Eep.... Stalkers. Although i do like high lvl atrax, Stalkers are abit out of my league ;)

There are Stalkers but avoidable, Mostly Atrax Old Alpha, Alphas which even I can take in Full Gremlin (Have a couple of 5B plates though!) - (my previous setup was for the Fungoids).
