I have read a little into the useage of skill implants and have picked up the basics, but I do have a few questions. Is it possible for more than one avatar to extract into a single implant? Or multiple extractions form a single avatar?

Example: I have 500 aim, my friend has 300.
Could I extract 200 into one, then he adds 100 to it?
OR: I have 500 and put all 500 in, then I gain another 300, can I add it too?

This would make it usefull to hang onto a lower filled implant for incresing it's storeage later. If this could be done it would be much easier to help others gain. Get a few decent skilled players and have each contirbute a little bit, instead of one person using up a bunch of skills for it.

Just a thought a freind and I had. As always thank you for your time.

as you become more skilled and implant gives less levels. The higher the level your are the more experience it takes to get to the next level. Your really putting experience on it rather than levels. :wise:

Also, only one person can put skills on a chip and then its locked from adding more. If i could keep adding then I would be sweating forever

I don't think that answered the question. No, one person can fill once... one person can use once. That's it.

Thank you both for your responses. That answered the question perfecly, all I needed to know was it gets locked after adding. Thanks a bunch
Rep for both!

Also, you want to have at least around 1k of a skill, if not 1500, to make it worthwhile to chip out a skill. Something like 300 skill would be a waste of time and money cause the implant would have like "15 percent" of its full possible total.

Indeed. Each time you use the NeoPsion implant inserter, it decays around 2 PED.

The best way to go if you are planning to fill a chip is to wait until you have 1913+ in the relevant skill, then put all of it into the chip. If you are looking forward to buying skills, you'd rather get full chips (max TT = 0.99 PED).

This was worth repeating ! Many players make that mistake and think they will actually gain ~1800 levels with a full chip. Which is only true if you are Newbie (1-10) in that skill ;)

A very skilled player could fill a chip with less than 10 levels of a single skill.

Sorry for the off-topic, but I think it was worth mentioning :)

Yes I saw it to, but I think it must of been a filled looted chip (or just a bug). When you extract your skills the maximum amount you can fill it with is 99%

Is it possible to loot filled skill chip ?? Never heard about that...

no it isnt :) I think what he ment is a bug that followed some of the chips from when you looted them..

I'm still obscure on if a skill implant was from a character with almost max in a skill, and a newbie uses it, does it boost expotentially? If not the full amount, what % would a newbie gain off a full chip?

Think of it this way...a noob with no skills who implanted any FULL skill implant in their body would get about 1900 skills.

However, a person with 4,000 in a skill would get MUCH LESS from the same FULL implant, maybe 300 or so.

A noob with 1900 skills who EXTRACTED their skill would fill up 1 full chip.

A person with 4,000 who EXTRACTED their skill would be able to fill up many chips, probably 4 or 5. You might expect it to be 1900 times two but it's NOT, the skill in this case is more 'dense' at higher levels and fills up more.

If you wish to see how much of a boost you will get from an implant I have figured out how that works. You open the item information (right click) and click the info button, this will give you the basics of what the implant is and all. At the top of the list, it will tell what your current level is and then what it will be after the implant. Easiest way to see if the implant is what you want or not.
