Last looted mod fap?

I heard a rumor awhile after spacemissions came that someone looted a mod fap but it was never confirmed so my question is, when and from what mob was the last confirmed drop of a mod fap, and who looted it?

The only person i know that has looted a mod fap was Hyperion, he told me it was when he was a "noob" in pregold from a feffoid.

No idea when the last one dropped. There were rumours about Warants looting one from an Eamon during the event a few months back, but they were never confirmed.

Just waiting for the new 'discovery' to pop up some day.

Well, what's confirmation? A screenie? Then long long long ago. If anyone looted one within the last 3 years Itd be kept hidden more than likely, as It'd have been looted by some uber uber on an uber uber mob. If not, Itd be on EF prolly, or passed around word-of-mouth.

Dont really see the point In these mod fap threads anymore, but carry on...

Maybe someone that you call "uber" will come forward and tell us since it does really not matter anyway, it´s not likely that another one drop from the same mob or in the near future from the last drop whenever that was.

Ahh the ancienct myth of the Modified FAP. Doesn't exist I say

Its really hard to say when the last was looted. There was a duplicate exploit a long time ago in PE and it is thought that many of the mod faps that exist today were duplicated using this exploit before MA associated invidual items with some type of code.

Just looking at one of the last few mod items looted like the Mod extractor, Mod Teg, and most recently the Mod Merc I would hazard a guess and say these things loot on a very slow cycle. Mod extractor was looted sometime after CND was implemented and I don't think one has been looted since and many a daspletor hof has come and gone since then. Same with the mod teg just think how many ambu have been killed since it last was looted. Even (L) mod items like the Korss don't loot very often and MA is trying to push that system.

Its to bad really because I think people would play more if these things showed up in loot more often. I know I would.

Also its possible these items are not on any type of cycle what so ever and only show up in loot when MA puts them there when they start getting bad vibes from the community and that is their number on complaint.

I would like to think this Isn't true, and would also like to think that the recent MM drop was from a recycled old avatar... Who knows. I really really hope that all loots fall under the same algorithm.

Yeah me too, that was just my dabble into a conspiracy theory given MA's track record when the vibe of the community is like "Where the hell are all the good items" then they start magically appearing in loots. LOL my sarcasm doesnt always come off to well

I do however think they have some control on what gets dropped and when, maybe not to who it gets dropped to though. I just think back to Skam's article about Paradox not being finished and soon after it showed up in Hogglos which was a nice surprise but I don't think its been back in Hogglo loot since .

Ohhh well we will never know for sure and I am sure MA doesnt want us to. Keep us all in the dark is standard operating proceedure at MA.

I believe MA recently stated that locked/old avatars that lose items do NOT have their items added back into the loot pool, but I could be wrong...

Actually I think Marco said that items on locked/abandoned avatars don't count against the total for the general population. Didn't say they were put back in the loot cycle, but from that, I would imagine that if an abandoned avi had a mod fap, it wouldn't count towards the say 10 total in game for the general population.

So pretty much saying that that spcific Mod Fap with a TT of 123.45 won't be recyled, but a new one will be generated and eventually drop to fill the void of only 9/10 for the population.
