Actually... no. The mentality, age, and maturity of your average WoW player (witnessed first hand during a short attempt to play it) is far below what I expect here in Entropia.

The big misconception I see is the idea that people WANT PvP everywhere. Okay, some do... mainly those with big wallets, those who don't give a damn about anyone but themselves, and those who profit from players who don't have big wallets, but succumb to the draw of space travel.

This seems fairly simple. If you don't trust MA to pay as they say they will, don't buy. Raising your objection/suspicion is the act of a responsible member of the community, I agree. But beyond that, there's really no point, is there? That's pretty much it. Though I'll say this..... I laugh...

I doubt you'd think that if you had to write the systems that make what customers use work. ;) The magical features people take for granted are not as simple to create as they are to use.

Fees vary depending on the bank. Also, international ACH transfers (what a direct bank transfer is) are generally not cheap for either side of the transaction. Why the fees? You're paying for the network, the transaction software, and the manual work that happens to make sure the transaction...

There's no such thing as luck in a computer program. There's no such thing as "random" in a computer program. What we likely have here is a pseudo-random generation system based on a seed "randomly" assigned to each avatar upon creation, which is probably based on a static floating point seed...

The types of folks that would have heard ahead of time about the deeds being issued are not the types of folks that have to worry about undercutting on auction to make PEDs. They just go hunt and get another ATH. :smoke:

It should be noted that the start of this thread, and the auction 'issues,' started well before any announcement regarding deeds. So the idea of blaming the issues referenced by the OP on deeds is... silly.:dunce:
