Hi,

There are Nanny and Tally apps but they are NOT on MA 3rd apps page. Are they legal ?

(Opensource means nothing when you download .exe...)

What do you mean “are they legal”?
If you’re concerned, used Entropia life tracker.

those app have NO interaction with gameplay, they just read the log file.
no interest by MA on those, EULA examine only programs that interact with game
like screen reading for aimbots, and more
of that kind that interacts with screen reading (OCR) there is LBML that is authorized by MA

just to be clear
LOG FILES PARSERS DO NOT VIOLATE EULA so are legit

You don't know what the app is doing if you're installing a compiled .exe. It could very well be keylogging or sending data without your knowledge.

Unless you compile from source yourself (and have read the code but assumed you know if compiling yourself) or MA has given it the go ahead then it's not "legit".

i appreciate yuour paranoia :) but that on an extreme perspective, is true

Do you have such info in MA statements ? Becuse pure logic is not enough when ban wave happens.

But agree about offline parsers, espacialy when you copy log file somewhere else *first* :)

What more funny both Nanny and Tally are written in scripting languages so source code is what program execute, not counting jitting.

In Nanny case requirements have "irc" module - bit absurdal :) It is sub-requirements, probably ?
