Question: 5-12% return with big amps?

Is it possible? 3 days in a row i consumed 27 enmat amps 109 and 15 enmat amps 107 on "CND". In 8 years of playing i have never had avg return between 5-12% calculated exactly.
I cant believe what just happened.
Dont wanna neg advertise the asteroid but THIS seems Possible. I expect at a 20-30% return in worst cases.
lvl 43 surveyor using mt1k tier 8 with half depth and half range enhancers.
I did carpet, line and triangle per direction bombing and i had many of these amps with nrf.
Is it possible to find sizable with enmat 109? Till now i thought it wasnt on CND. Seems delicious this story.

First of all it was your choice to use such AMPS. Secondly there are 2 people that are on CND that keep bombin constantly with big Ore amps and Enmater amps....... Perhaps they are draining the pool?
Learn to do timing and understand how to mine cnd correctly.... i get it you been here along time...... but you think you would figure out that bigger amps are your own RISK and not MA fault how you drop them or where or when.......

Sizeable with ma109 on cnd should not be possible.

Lowest find I've found with a 1 ped drop is ~5 ped. ma-109 is a 10.5 ped drop, so theoretically the lowest find should be over 50 ped. You possibly could drop down into "large", but sizeable says to me there is something f'd up with mining.

I've been getting ridiculous returns myself, but not as bad as you.

By your figures you've dropped over 5000 probes in the 3 days. You should definitely have been much closer to an average return rate (tt) after that many drops.

Your return rate is criminal.

About to send them an FU-gram myself... but I know I would just get a generic reply with the word "dynamic" in it.

There is indeed something wrong there, can you tell us if you been doing whole domes or been moving to another as the loot seemed bad to you, also have you been re-bombing the same domes too early?

this sizable find with ma-109 sound suspicious, like xen stated it, it is technicaly impossible to find a "little" size with these amps but there i am unable to explain this.

to me what happend there was an unefficient mining style, aka mining while it has already been drained, the risk is higher with big amps so when it stinks you'd rather stop quick or you're just more into gambling than wise mining.. honestly sorry for you criminal runs ths is trully f'd up

Last 2 days ive dropped 41 oa104 and 5 oa105 @ CND. Best claim was XVI (3 of them) rest was close or below 100 ped. I had many amps w/o a single claim. Also quite a few X claims. I guess its just not our time ....

i don't know much about cnd but with the hit rate of i think 5% and considering the number of drops the run probably wasn't long enough. amps like that are always sketchy no matter where the amps are used.

About mining style- there are many different ones. And on planet side u can get modest depo with amp 107 enm. Sounds ridiculous.
After 8 years i really feel the need to quit i guess..i know i wont but thats how i feel atm. Greed gone to far from MA side,
I am aware that I took the risk...but this kind of return sould be on slots machine in a casino.
Honestly i dont care losing few k`s but not in a few hours period and in mining. Best was an 122 angelic in rest some siza and only large finds...it was outrageous.

Why the hell did you used the larger amps? To obtain what? You know better than this. I'm truly sorry, but you know how's stuff in EU, it gets wild when you push it. I can relate with playing in "disbelief" and thinking "wtf, this shouldn't be possible" at each mouse click, but that can get you anywhere. My max is -10k peds in 1 day. And I don't wanna try to see if I can more.

It is possible to find any claim size with any amp and ill explain why. If someone finds a tiny, let it expire and ittle still be there for the next to find. Altough it will never be larger then tiny so it ignores the effect ur amp should have. So probably someone who let a sizable expire and u picked it up while amped big. Happens and is annoying, And its the the reason i never drill up my tinies and minimal's

If u want to gamble then do so but dont comeone whinin on the forums about how much u lose and all. The game doesnt lose ur money, ur own stupidity does. Well since i mine myself and i came across these odd deposits sizes every now and then while beeing amped i decided to test it. So, I went mining found some small claims, and then used a big amp after the expired on the same spot. And Voila i get a find that should be impossible with the amp i was using but coincidently was on the same spot as the previous find, and the same size. For me that settled the matter, ofc i hvnt truly proven its safe to assume it based on that experience.


All I was saying there is a big diffrence between a 5% return and a 12% return, And what I was saying is if it aint paying QUIT, wait, and try again. Thats just some good advice even though i wouldnt take it myself but thats because im stupid and stuborn and addicted.

Is it possible to find sizable with enmat 109?

With MA-109, a find rate of 5% and 5% tax you should get at least 67 PED (abundant), when assuming that minimal was introduced again. Hence sizable is not possible. Looks more like of having used a MA-103 or 104.

In the new release notes (11.5.1) they do mention some mining bugs. I suggest to contact support .

I made an 10 oa109 run on asteroid 2 weeks ago and experienced the same (return was about 800 ped tt )
I´m never doing bad with lower amps up to 104 but this mega amps r completely different sphere i think-pure casino.
I've done really really bad,but ur story is just horrible and if i learned one thing, its that ill never play with lotery tickets of that kind again.
109 amps sucks.period.mining theories and logic doesnt work there....just pure and blind luck.
