Figured it'd be easier to keep details of my endeavours here, rather than lose it somewhere on my PC!

Will probably start this sometime on Monday, as I'll have a 'proper' budget (600-700 PEDs :p proper for a newb ;)) to play with, though I'll probably deposit a bit more every month to cover losses etc.
A little about me
I've known about Entropia since Project Entropia, as I used to play it way back then, on an avatar long since deleted, and I used to be a decentish miner, with the ooooold mining system and the old map, so I'd like to see if I can find some new spots to go mining in, develop an understanding of the new mining system and try and achieve my aims.

I've had a little bit of luck so far - 58 ped Melchi and a 100 ped Cobalt, but I'm not really doing this for globals, though they would be welcome ;)

  • To go through many areas of Calypso and explore the world, finding new areas and rediscovering old ones.

And now for a shameless plug
I do have a trader, who, from my experiences has offered me the best percentages for any ores and enmatters, beating most other traders by several %, he is always in Twin at the balcony, Rambo Gepard Secorder. Definitely worth a chat, and is also a very nice guy too! This guy will have first refusal on all of my ores/enmatters :)

Summary:
Started off pretty abysmally, ran into a lot of Armax that didnt like me very much, but found a new ore to me, so thats another one to add to the collection, but generally was hitting claims every now and then, steady gains in skills and everything, so that was pretty good, then got to the river and, after crossing that, found a nice ample (IX) Caldo, before getting destroyed by Atrax left right and centre. In between deaths I was still finding some decent finds, but made it to Caravan with about 120 bombs to go, so figured I'd continue. Wandered up to near Isslye and after a race with a Foul, managed to find a nifty HoF :D So thats a good way to start my mining log, with an entry at #69 in the mining HoF :D

Though, with still 75 bombs to go, or so, I continued out west, just to see if there was any more fortune for me. There wasn't. Well, not much anyway, a handful of claims spattered across the land, but nothing substantial, and so, for mining run #1, I was done. :)

Summary:
I coulda ended this straight away in profit :D
Second bomb found a new resource for me - Dianthus :)
Then sixth bomb, I found a XI Gazz. Great I thought, but it was just on the edge of my range, so thought I'd double bomb it - did so and got a great Gazz - 107 peds! Double bombed AGAIN and got a Large Erio :D
So that was pretty good..
Continued on, and found largely nothing :S So decided to head back and take the profit :)
