about chiping for skills

NO and yes is the short answer!


Just by chipping skills will not make you unlock anything. You need to really be in the field to unlock skills. (Crafting, mining, hunting)


Ok this is how chipping can make you unlock skills.

If you chip the right skills for example commando. You get your HA up to 7.0 the skills unlocks at say 7.0 to 7.3 then you hunt that is how you could unlock the skills using chips. But you do need to get the actual skill by doing a action.

Chip up to meet the reqirements for unlocking the skill. Then go out and shoot a bit, if you did everything right first shoot will give you unlock (for hunting skills). Sometimes can take more than one but you will get unlock pretty soon anyway.

So the answer is yes but you have to use you gun/fap/tool a bit after chipping.
