I had to re-install my system today and noticed that when I went to download the flash player for firefox the eula was from adobe.
Looking around a bit it appears adobe bought macromedia as there is no macromedia site anymore. Aren't there laws about companies becoming monopolys?
A problem for me though is that the flash player and shockwave player just give errors for me in ff now, flash movies are half missing and generally the whole thing is a big mess
In fact adobe list requirments on their website and dont even mention firefox browser:
The adobe.com website is supported on the latest versions of Microsoft Internet Explorer, Netscape Navigator, Mozilla and AOL. In order to fully experience the adobe.com site, please upgrade to the latest version of one of the following browsers:
* Microsoft Internet Explorer
* Netscape Navigator
* Mozilla
* AOL
* Safari
At this time adobe.com does not fully support the following browser/versions. Adobe is actively working with these companies to resolve issues with the following browsers.
* Netscape 6.2 and earlier (Mac and Win)
* Internet Explorer 4.x and earlier (Mac and Win)
* Opera (all versions and platforms)
* Camino 0.7
* Mozilla 1.3 (Macintosh OS X)
