yeah i totally agree!! look at that Kz. n1 in mining today more 70k.. there r some avatars no matter what they do they will always hit big, and that is decided when u make the avatar
 
This player in his probably first two days surpassed my best loots of 3 years two times. Exactly therefore I see no point in playing anymore atm.
 
It's pure luck. Why should you cry as a loser because he gets better Hofs on easier mobs ? Do you keep hunting that hard mob ? cycling a lot of PEDs ? You'll eventually get something.

Leave the poor (better said, rich) guy alone

I think this is pure coincidence/luck. I find it similar to someone shooting a basketball from half court, and making it twice, back to back. VERY hard to do, but not impossible.

As for avatar's being equal? Look at it this way, everyone that's complaining is equal to everyone else that's complaining :laugh:. Now THAT is what I call equality. :D

Honestly, I don't get the point of this thread though?

SO, he's rigged coz he got lucky twice?

People are bringing up silly points about how much they cycle now etc etc... but that only means anything if MA stated loot pool theory was true, or more specifically "personal loot pool". They didn't, it's a silly theory anyway, there fore, you were not ripped off and it's silly seeing all the whine threads..

I can understand how it could be frustrating to you, but all this is at it's core is jealousy. Congrats to him.
 
if we folow this avatar we will see that he will hit big again. this was just the start. once born with lucky star always lucky:)

IMO all avatars are created with equal chances of equal return % IF they figure out what their avatar is best qualified to do and when to do it. So the avatars that end up with "Hunting" or "Mining" or "Crafting" get the good returns but the avatars who get stuck with say "Mining with 'X' finder and 'Y' amplifier for minerals between 'A & B' depth" have to lose, lose, lose before figuring out what they're good at, and with what combination of skills/gear. I believe that the system creates miners, crafters, and hunters to keep a balance within the system. Everyone hunting and no crafters/miners would destroy the economy. As we all know... if one of us liked to hunt but discovered we could often break even and sometimes profit crafting attachments, then we'd craft attachments and hunt with the profits when we did profit. Many avatars in-game use one profession to balance out their losses in another while searching for "the big one". I also believe that sometimes the "system" can see that over an extended period of time a certain resource or component or item has shown a steady decline in availability so it allocates new avatars to be able to contribute to that area. So someone like myself may have gotten stuck being a "Narc" miner because at the time it was needed to craft components used in crafting something else that was used in crafting something else which the game has been needing for the past 6 mths. I don't think this "allocated profession" so to speak has a HUGE impact on the system... however, I do think that finding your "niche" in-game will almost guarantee profit if you're smart about it.

So all in all I don't believe avatars are created equal.... just created with equal opportunity to "break even" or "profit" and even "lose".

Pure luck keep dreaming and who is crying I gratz the ava, it's more a statement to FPC/MA whoever.

And don't give me the cycle enough peds statement I camped troxs for nearly a year everyday without a HOF above 2k before I gave up on them and I cycled alot of ped, I was always in the top 100 hunter on tracker even got into top 30 before I had a recent break from EU.

I do agree you get better loot the more peds you cycle, but tell me how many peds did he cycle :laugh:

I'm just stating the obvious that each avatar is born different!

I think you should spend some more time studying probabilities and distribution of random systems. Extreme outliers are a simple result of large N's. In other words, put enough noobs with a tiny chance of 2 ubers and then expect something rare to happen.

Jeez, what are you whining about here? A noob or two got lucky, happens all the time, he won`t see hof for a long time now. I`m 99% sure he will spend it REALLY fast and very uneco/unwise.

problem is it shouldnt be random, and such events should be blocked in a sensibly balanced system.

which is it then: rigged avatars, random gambling or unbalanced? how is this a good thing for the game?

Well this thread is not about if someone gets 2 snablesnot hofs, its another thread about the issue that all avatars are not created equal with the same chances. So it is what it is.

Its good for the company if they get to choose who gets it if they would work for them, so that they know they stay in game and dont withdraw.
 
as aggregating as it might be, with all these new people there is bound to be the statistical anomalies such as this....

and to think ive depo'd that much ped in the last week and half :( ahhhhhh gut wrenching :(
 
ooh guys u wouldn't whine so much if u know some basics of statistics and mathematics.

Althou some multipier for new avas "to make them stay in game and depo" it is possible ( i am one of them )

Don't worry much, they are beginers and that few K peds will be back in loot pool (loot system for Hard Wrath :) ) in few days
