Another LOOT SUCKS thread

Something i noticed, I fap allot of people. It's all i do. I rarely hunt, I rarely mine. I have only 2 globals, and that's it. I take pleasure in running a fapping service. and i see ALLOT of people VERY happy with there loot. Other than that, there is a reason that you haft to be 18+ to play.

I am loosing like all of u,mostly 30-40 % ped run-not every run like someone would understand,but it evens out later to 100% loss of deposited money at the end of the month.Someone wrote that returns in hunting are now better when there arent 20-30k ubers in hunting every day.Well,i had 4 globals in 30 days of hunting and mining various mobs,and probably cant expect something like a 20 k trox young like some of you had, a 8k argo etc...but not to see any of the normal,medium mobs in the top 30???

i work for a company that has tens of casinos,and we cant take more then 6 % at the end of the month.IF this game would use the same system,ill would gladly deposit and enjoy myself,but this seems to become a serious issue now

Lol, i remember how Romjio who had sold me my first OK gun in PE back in 2004 complained alot how he lost TWENTY peds hunting on Crystal Palace all day with imp mk2 in dome 4. This is with skills not really maxing out the thing.
You see where it going: you keep depositiing more peds, MA keeps reducing the loot.
You encourage MA to follow their policy to reduce the loots.
You even help them with extra money you put into something having zero intrinsic value (CLD) while them keep screwing you in sand king and hussk events.
Fools. You are cash cows for MA which will keep milking you as you deposit more and more.
Without your deposits MA would have been forced to close up or do something in the loot department.
What a shame.

On this site i'm waiting for good news about the game or probably that some big corporation bought MA.
Or loots went less foul.
So i can deposit a fraction of the $120k i have withdrawn @go hardcore and profit again.
But I'm not creazy to deposit in a game where best return is 90% and no possibility to farm high markup unlimited items.

There was a time when I thought my loot sucked until I started recording every hunt and my spending.
Yep, eco might not be that "fun" because you have to consider everytime what armour and gun to use on each mob.
I may also not be much "fun" if you have to wait a few days to sell something with a small profit, but it is surely better for ones purse to realize that one is wasting real money on "comfort".
Paying decay is a loss.

And since it is always the same peeps whining and strangely allways the same telling them to finally get their act together and that has been going on for years now...If I had something to say, I would give the whiners a temp ban.
They are not helping the game or the community and encouraging others to feel right about not changing their habits.
Play within the set rules, record your hunts, tweak your outfit and you will do fine.


and NO Joker, you are not playing eco or anything near it...2 hour hunt on small troxies and having 100 PEDs armour decay is not possible. If one gets 50 PEDs than it would also be only because of beeing playing dumb or too lazy to swap to a suitable armour. With just level 35 evade I average on about 15 Peds on a two hour hunt.

I don't know personally that loot is bad. But I really don't hunt so much, maybe a 100 ped hunt 2-3 times a week. And in the last ten hunts I was in profit 3 times, broke even once, and only got killed with a 50% return once. The other 5 were varying losses. So I figure my return was around 90% for the last month or so...maybe slightly better with markup. So in the last month or so, I lost ~$10, not bad for 10-12 hours of entertainment.

And let me tell you, my set up is not really eco. I hunt smaller molisks in my ghost which gives around 30% 1 point damage hits, and I use an unlimited gun, a Justy Mk II, which at my level means pretty many missed shots. And I STILL don't see crappy returns like Joker claims to get.

So instead of investing in high end armor and guns and faps, I bought land deeds. And the return I get on them is much higher than what I spend here in a month. So my account value goes up instead of down. So from now on, I play for free because of my investment in worthless land deeds.

And if I get tired of this world, I just sell those worthless deeds and get my investment back and probably more. Those deeds are being bought up pretty quickly so far. There is a steady demand for them. Which means by this summer, when MA runs out of them, the price of each one should increase by a fair amount. I wouldn't rule out 1500 ped a deed by next christmas.

I have always tracked my return since 2006. Bad times 70%, good times 90%. Over all long time average ~80%. November 2011 to January 2012 I ended up at 86% with my old blades: 2 Katsuichi Determination and 2 Castorian Combat EnBlade-10 (highlight in december with 92%). Two days ago I made a cut. I put the old blades to my storage and started using my new Genesis Niflheim. Return so far 82% (nearly the same as far as one can judge it from two days hunting).

My question: What exactly is the problem with loot?

I guess the answer goes like this: When I started in 2005/2006 I used axes and my old Katsuichi Valor. Probably not really eco but cheap. Today I use some gear wich is much more expensive on much bigger mobs. So 80% return meant 15$ loss per week back in the past and 100$ per week today. That's the whole trick. Still 80%

I just gave figures, not whining in particular just not experienced 20k turnover with 75% returns as far as my records go. Overall i have done ok and am withdrawing more than i depo'd, like i said just the loot swing seemed drastic. Still have a sizeable amount of skills that are free/made through smart trade so no worries really.

I have heard people tell me of much worse but tbh they were amping like loonatics/taking big risks.

Anyway i'll leave ya'lll to it, just hope when you experience a bad down phase you suck it up.

IT always evens up long term, but i do think the loot swings can become to drastic, ofc we all have the choice to stop and do something else.

Suppose person A hunts with imp mk2&a204 and mod fap/no armor, then i suppose any return less than 98% sucks.
Person B hunts with Svempa XT+dante and armor&fap decay is around 5%. Then person B will make 82% back or less.
This is unless EU actually adjusts loot to person B economy (which is then is no fair play i think).
Person A&B hardcore and cycle 5k ped/day 35k ped week.
Person A loses 700 ped/week in TT.
Person B loses 6300 ped/week.
Therefore, for hardcore hunting much better economy than 2.9dmg/pec is needed

If what you are doing isn't working, you have to consider doing something different or trying to do it a different way.

I see flies battering their heads against windows sometimes.


We all lose from time to time (sometimes heavily)

Switch gear, switch mob, try an easier mob perhaps, try hunting or mining somewhere else. It'll work out, but the worst thing you can do if something isn't working, is carry on (IMO)

My return rate is 87% since the end of MM, tracked using EUHunter.

About 10k ped cycled, no concern for eco (Ghoul +5B, MaddIV + Beast, EMT 2600, max pro level 21). No HoFs or high MU item drops.

Pretty much exactly what I expected with this setup.

I'm not saying you guys are not seeing the bad returns you claim to, but as several others have said; without data to back it up why would I believe something that goes contrary to my own experience?

IMHO: Loot is exactly the same as it was in 2007 when I started playing. Nothing has changed. (With the possible exception of the Uber/ATH payout algorithms, somethings definitely different there.)

yes... MM tier 0 at best is in my price range now give me some DPS

I come up with 80 dps on the button... at lvl 80 Hit and Dmg...
I am lvl 76 or so Longblader... and have 106.7 dps as you said...

My handgun is much lower then my Rifle... even though i have 11k LWT i am only lvl 66 or so this is why i am not handgunner very high costs to get to the lvl80 we spoke of

Had my first 100% loss hunt today. Loot didnt nearly cover decay so all ammo spent was gone to lol. O well live and learn

I'd have to agree...if a topic keeps popping up in threads, it is better to solve the issue than to supress the issue from rising.

Better to have it pop up here, and have MA/FPC deal with it, then having it pop up all over the internet, giving EU bad rep.
