Question: Are Dung/Fruit/Stones no longer invisible while running?

Twelve year n00b here. I just ran an experiment to see at what degree of being overweight one starts seeing items on the ground. I found a piece of Bombardo and gradually started adding items to a spawned vehicle to reduce my weight. However, the result was that I could see it even while running at full speed (as I am in the image, although it's hard to tell). I passed the fruit several times, running both uphill and downhill, and it always appeared.

Is this an abnormal occurrence, or is walking for items a thing of the past?

I think they changes this a year or so ago, maybe more, that as long as you're within range you'll see it. So speed doesn't matter as i have noticed it.

Yeah you don’t have to be walking anymore.

you can see the stuff there running or walking, but the range to see it is farirly small so if you are not paying attention it is easy to miss.
