(laugh) we've all been shocked that we might have to risk an item to upgrade a weapon, but i also believe that due to the randomised numbers some items will tier up faster than others. then we lose ammo loot to "balance" the seeding of new consumables, of which there still seem few dropping.

do you not want people to teir up thier items? because thats how it looks.
there should in no way be a requirement to need another item to upgrade one. it should be maybe a 95% chance of loosing some tt value (even then that screws over the UL SIB owners). as it is i dont think i'll ever be using it for anything other than an opalo (if im lucky enough to draw one with low first few teirs).
