Logged in for my usual lunchtime hour, and saw this in the HoF:

Did a forum search, checked the discoveries section, etc and found nothing about it (only been 50 minutes though, but would think it would go faster)


Just thought I would post it here for those at work :)

Do ya think this means vehicles will be crafted? Or you will craft parts and put into a car? Or craft replacement parts and buy full cars?


Whichever it is, gratz to Silver zelda Jones for the discovery and I hope we get to see some more info and screenies soon? :)
 
Yep, always assumed that vehicles would be crafted. Some off the looted hangar stuff will be needed also i guess.
How many items would be needed to craft a whole car ?

Well Servo is one part... I would guess all the engine parts, tires, wheels, etc etc etc? :silly2:
 
nice atleast MA try to keep the hope... so they give some L bp to talk about... summer is HEREEE!!!
 
I do hope that the cars will use existing components that currently have no use


Basic Filters could maybe get a use for example? :D
 
any clue on what the person was crafting when this bp dropped(there was no glob i was online atm), i assume components? Anyone actually know this person?

tried finding the blueprint in auction orders but I couldnt see it...

It won't be since its (L), which aren't orderable. I had a quick look through the BP Books and at the list of available books and couldnt see any new spaces, meaning UL BPs arent available yet. I guess we will have to wait.

perhaps they'll add a vehicles book with a new update...

Who cares about how long time - it has now started and a lot of new goals has been created now
 
I Guess there was a bit more in mondays update than meets the eye. Seems MA wanted to keep it quiet.

I really hope the vehicles will be complex construction projects requiring lots of looted and manufactured parts. Think of the DNA--it's been getting more complex to the point where we have, what, 5 parts for proteron so far? Imagine 20 looted parts and 100 manufactured parts all coming together for vehicle components, and then a choice of vehicles to assemble based on that.

Ah well, let's see the reality. :laugh:

If the crafter was autoclicking at the time, it might takes days before he even notices the new strange BP. :)

This will be very interesting. Glad to see the process started. :wtg:

was the bp discovered during craft even? It could have been looted(like beacon bp) or perhaps even found during a mine now?

EDIT: I wont post any threads like this in the future, since I get negrep for "EFD farming"... I wanted to be nice to the people who were at work and show this, but apparently that is not appreciated.

(Like I would NEED to farm EFD...)

As well as I'd expect that mobs could damage a vehicle. I'd only hope the vehicle can go faster than people and most/all mobs can run!
 
MA will add falling damage before we can use the vehicles :wise:
