Maybe doomsday prophets are out of fashion,
but today I wave that sign of doom and gloom before you.
If I am not right I will be glad for all of us - but listen to me

"Doom is near!"

We might just be on the brink of destruction!
Why is the imperial news network holding back informations about the robots?
What is going on at Akbal-Cimi currently?
Notice that there were new weapon systems tested recently at the RX bases in the contaminated zones.
And now we are facing massive attacks.

But are these attacks as massive as we believe?
Basically just as a group of overpowered vigilantes we were able to kill off most of the robot waves quite quickly.
In the cold and unrelenting optical sensors of a robotic strategist all this might be a nefarious plan to learn about how much stronger the human forces have become.
Maybe this is done by just using up the old and outdated robot forces.
We are being watched, examined and analysed.

I say the time when the face of Calypso will be awash with the fury and rage of full out war is quickly approaching,
lets hope we will be able to avert that more settlements will be destroyed the way Zychion was in the previous robot war.
Prepare any way you can - if you plan to fight make sure your equipment is in top condition.
We are facing a most dangerous time.

Crikey, what more montrous evil can the robots create than these beasts.
Zychion would be lost if it were not for the efforts of our top societies.
As for Hadeshiem they are obviously causing a diversion to prevent us from identifying the main attack.
All Avatars should disperse from hades immediately and leave these obsolete pieces of junk to my noob self to clean up :D (and a few of those nice people in TDO)

No problem people. As soon as I loot the remaining....uh....7 pieces of my set of PoE I will be out there to protect the empire. In the mean time I`ll be taking a nap. Wake me when hell freezes over.
 
Well if we're all doomed then sod the mining. I'm off to a beach somewhere near Ithica for a barbeque. Some fruit, animal fats, an improvised cooking method (okay, a gun) and some music.

Pirx, I too feel we're in dangerous times now. Either the government is lying to us deliberately about humanity defeating the robots (A bizzilion drone coordinators at Hadesheim, our capital! Can the drones they coordinate be far behind?), or perhaps the robots did retreat from human space, albeit temporarily.

Bottom line, we don't know what's going on in the dark reaches of space. Given the robots return to Calypso in such force, I fear that perhaps they found something else out there...something that started pushing them back harder than we could ever dream of.

Perhaps a storm is coming.

hm... like the combine pressed the aliens through the xen borderworld and into our dimention via the resonance cascade at black mesa, and then followed them and took over Earth during the 7-hour-war? (wrong game, but it's the same thing ;))

I agree Noggin - but ass I am going to be shooting things anyway - may have a bit more of a giggle doing so :)

I am even halfway through digging a trench just north of the bridge from the TP at Hades. All welcome in my trench. Gotta try and keep them squeaky things away from the city.
