FYI: Best Theory EVER

I think if you take 100 players that deposit money into game and have them cycle their winnings you would find EU took prolly 30% of the cash total everyone put in but that 70% left over is continually cycled amongst players. EU never would get any more. They make 30% of deposit value only. Players could play a long time, eventually there would be just one player with the 70% using this model but EU did not get it all.

Firstly of all, I have watched this game for nearly eight years. From experience, I say you're utterly wrong. But that's just my opinion.

Secondly, from a statistical point of view, in order for that to be true it would mean some avatars are born lucky (because if everyone is equally lucky, in the end everyone would share the 70 %). Since that implies a rigged game, I don't think MA would dare make such an approach. Because it would be illegal in so many ways.

Look people, its a business and has to operate the same as any other business. All proceeds are divided to pay for overhead which includes depositing x amount for future costs, and investors returns.

The rest is distributed to the game in whatever way to keep users happy. And we players have to look at it the same way, whatever you invest needs to be worth the entertainment and return value, and if it doesnt, you need to quit.

And if enough stop playing, the owners and inverstors will make changes, so there is an incentive to play again.

And if not, they will go under. We have the power, we always had all the power. I dont play near as much as I used to, cause the return has been there for me and it has gotten plain boring.

The ball is in their court......

PS: NOWHERE DOES IT SAY YOU HAVE TO DEPOSIT TO PLAY, YOU CHOSE TO!! YOU ALONE ARE TO BLAME FOR ANY LOSES!

I never complained about losing money, that would be like going to the casino and complaining about losing money. :p

Wasn't directed at anyone, was just a general note that each makes their own decisions but I see tons of people complain about making the wrong ones and blaming EU or others for it. Sorry if you thought it was at you it totally was not.

Yup to each their own this is Theory after all :p

No not born lucky, they just have the natural born talent of hitting the right button at the right time, while standing at the right location and looking at the right pixel. (Boy thats a mouth full)

With such a brilliant inate ability, this avatar would not need skills to compensate.

Skilll based, aim at the right place on a player, like weak armor for example, and his hp should drop faster. Please note that this also plays towards (e)(n)(t)(rho:phi:theta) which analyses trajectories and other such good stuff based on spheres.

Absolutely, I am now in the firm belief that this is a skill based game, not only of tha avatar, but the avatars controller :)

If you lack natural skill, peds and skill gaining compensate till you hit the magic 90%

Oh yea 90% let me show you this.

A 1km grid can contain 100 individual points, which are 100m away

100^2=1000. The radius of a circle that covers these points would be 50m

Apply a little spiral to the mix, please note that the math is the same for both a square and spiral

diameter of grid = 500m
radius = 50m
number of points = (500/50)^2 =100

Same outcome. If that radius were bumped up to say 53m how many points would there be ?

(500/53)^2 89.

Let me show off my vision for this game, this is how simple it actually gets

XXXXXXXXXX
XXXXXXXXXX
XXXXXXXXXX
XXXXXXXXXX

That is a 10 by 10 array, each piece contains 1 ped and is 100m apart ie 100% populated. It is not possible to reduce the number of "headers" or numbers in this form so that it matches 90 except if it was a spiral..

It is also extremely impracticle to use anything else, you are dealing with circles for merp's sakes.

But this really does not matter, the worse your natural ability is, the more skills you should earn, as long as you are burning peds.
