I don't know how many rather new players read this, but I can only try to warn them.
Lately I haven taken up mining to a higher level and when I go to CND I buy some amps, mostly 103 and 104.
While looking for them, I often see amps that are at 3 ped on auction (they sell mostly at 9 ped).
A word to the uncautious: you can't use those anymore (an amp can't be used till '0', it breaks down sooner). You just loose your 9 ped.
So, if you have recently picked up mining and want to buy an amp (regardless if you can use it, this is not under discussion here), check if the one you want to buy can still be used.
Other than that: good luck with mining!
