Can this labtop play eu with medium settings.

should be able to do that i think :)

I have a laptop with the 210M gfx card and medium works just fine so should be no problem at all :)

The 320m has fewer GPU cores than the 9800 GT.

I was able to get medium out of the 9800GT when I had one.

The FPC site says that for medium, you need a Nvidia 7800 or better. I can't find specs on individual members of the 7800 family now, but some general specs are:

Fill Rate (Billion pixels/sec) 13.2
Vertices/Second (Millions) 1100
Pixels per clock (peak) 24
RAMDACs (MHz) 400

The 320 appears to beat these specs.

could someone rank this gfx cards so i know where they fit in

320m
230m
8800gt
9800gt
8600gt(what i currently use in my 1.5 year old desktop runs low/medium)

Should be very good laptop.

Yes this laptop should be more than adequate to run above medium if not at its highest settings. My laptop only has a GeForce 9600M and I can play the game pretty much on very high graphics (but don't most days) and upto about x4 anti-aliasing without to much hassle anymore the cards will probably start over-heating. But if there are a lot of ppl like Nea's place I have no choice but to turn graphics on at least medium or I start seeing warning signs like your card temporarily stopped working  but for you no problems. Its got more of everything than my setup thats for sure. If you want to compare the one you want to buy with mine its a Acer Aspire 6935, price tag £500.

MArk

Should be able to handle it.
Ive a 2.6GHz core2duo with a NVIDIA 9600m (1GB) and 4 GB of RAM.
(Acer 8930G)
Running it on medium (in busy area's in EU the frame rate might drop).

Good luck.
