Ok, so MA simply doesn't want the UL armor to drop anymore... why not just SAY so, and add the "Ancient" tag to all of the uber armors? Why this bull**it of putting the L versions onto virtually every mob?


*sigh* Gz on the loot, be sure to let us know what it sells for (if you sell it, that is ;) )

First, big gratz for this find.

Second, yea its a shame that Unlimited armors like this dont(lol) drop anymore. I start to see were MA want to bring them. I cant affirmate but:

With this kind of armor, let say they drop a bit regulary, the hunter/owner of one set will not hardcore hunt. Those armor are specialized and will be used by specialists, occasionaly, due to the L.

Now, i realy think MA want to bring ingame some new interesting professions. I dunno what kind though but i think the "fun" of those new professions will be equal at "hunting". Then, ppl will not have time to make the 2 activitys in the same time > hunting will be and stay fun > that realy legitimate the L stuff > the other activitys will be fun and mabe lucratives > that legitimate occasional hunting with L stuff too.

Im mabe wrong.

chron armor always been known for very high decay, never in mil years did i think they would make L version that would last like what 2-3 hunts?

Two words: "team hunt"
On a typical teamhunt on spiders for AoW atleast with 6-8people on big spiders decay is very low on armor, both due to big killspeed, and due to more people taking the hits. An (L) set of chronicle would also save a helluvalot of ME compared to tping back every time a stalker "likes you" for more than one hit in a row... ;p
Also due to the fact that soloing spiders is more or less impossible now (besides for the like 5-10 people ingame that "can" do it but even then its probably not very economic...)
