The Planet Calypso team is excited to present a Calypso Land Deed hunting event, with twenty Calypso Land Deeds up for grabs!

Winners are determined by the highest loots on the following creature - Molisk Scout.

Event Details
Prizes
  • 1st Place – 5 Calypso Land Deeds
  • 2nd Place – 4 Calypso Land Deeds
  • 3rd Place – 3 Calypso Land Deeds
  • 4th Place -- 2 Calypso Land Deeds
  • 5th Place -- 1 Calypso Land Deed
  • 10th Place -- 1 Calypso Land Deed
  • 25th Place – 1 Calypso Land Deed
  • 50th Place – 1 Calypso Land Deed
  • 75th Place -- 1 Calypso Land Deed
  • 100th Place – 1 Calypso Land Deed

Event Time -00:01 UTC Monday, September 24 - 23:59 UTC Sunday September 30.
Additional Molisk Scout spawns will be added to accommodate the event at the following locations:
  • Corinth East Hangars - 62842, 86727
  • Ithaca - 68678, 87302
  • Minopolis - 86711, 83409 and 83409, 83080
  • Nymphtown - 88014, 79619
  • Ashi - 83009, 77828

These spawns will be added on Sept. 21 to give colonists time to scout the locations and refine their hunting strategy.

**IMPORTANT NOTES**
To be eligible to win a prize, your account must be updated with accurate contact information, including proper name, street address & postal code, and email address.
Limit of one prize per account!

Prize Winner Determination
In order to avoid any confusion, a detailed description of the method that will be used to determine the winners of this event is provided below. We believe this event structure gives participants an incentive to hunt as much as possible during the event period, while also allowing those without so much time to have a fair chance of winning a prize in the event.

During the week after the end of the event, MindArk’s database engineers will generate a list of the top loots on the Molisk Scout creature during the announced event times (between 00:01 UTC Monday, September 24 - 23:59 UTC Sunday September 30).

This list of highest loots will then be sorted in descending order (largest loot to smallest), providing a highest single loot list for the event. This shall shall be called the FRL-Final Results List.

Prizes will then be determined based on positions on the FRL, with the following limitations: no avatar may win more than one prize, and prizes will be selected in descending order (1st prize selected first, 2nd prize selected second, and so on). This will ensure that each avatar can only win a single prize. Any lower FRL positions for an avatar that wins a prize will be removed, resulting in all entries lower on the FRL list moving up one position.

To explain it another way: Avatars may end up with several entries on the FRL, giving them a better chance of winning one of the various prizes available. However, once an avatar has been selected for a prize, all of the that avatar’s entries will be removed from the FRL.

Oh for christs sake... just yesterday finished exhausting grind on Molisks and got my 10k done :laugh:
Not really looking forward on doing any more of them anytime soon.

Well, the CLD Feffoid Mania obviously got a lot more people to hunt Feffoids, if the amount of globals on Feffoid during the time compared to the regular average is anything to go by (graph taken from Entropia Life, red area added by me to highlight which time period was the CLD Feffoid Mania period):

& how many of the top 10 globallers on feffoids actually won something in the event?

Well, apart from the fact that I can not see the top 10 globallers (only top 5)... why does that matter?

"Higher amount of globals" does now mean a higher activity rate than a "Highest single global" guy. Just because you're annoyed/angry/whatever at not winning despite having the highest amount of globals (maybe they should have a prize for that too, hmm) doesn't mean less people will participate in the next event (or have participated in the last one).
 
guess you didn't read the op well.
PS, this has nothing to do with me winning or not & being top globaller on feffs atm.
Zeke for example had twice as many globals as me at the end of the event.
Just check how many globals the top 5 winners had & you might get my point

Besides the "feffoid" copy-paste typo, some of the previous SPAWN locations were also not correct - ie they were empty. Please ensure they have proper spawns this time.
 
If you read the post, you would have seen that they will populate the spawns on the 21st.

Some of the spawn locations for the FEFFOID event were empty.:rolleyes:
 
Good contest. Fun in itself, even without prizes (allthough I wouldn't say no to the jackpot :D)
 
I hope the spawns for this will be adequate. They were OK for the Feffoids, if a bit busy at peak times, but Molisk Scout has considerably less HP and will be killed much faster, and we'll therefore need more mobs.
 
Might be fun if MA made a 200th place for people like who suck at this like me who only manage to get one global.... GIVE US MISSION TOKENS!!!!!! or something... how about a certificate that says "I participated in the Molisk Mania and all I got was this lousy certificate."
 
Good to see the CLD rounded up from 18 to 20, with places added for 10th and 75th. Maybe someone actually took notice of something I wrote.

As much as I'd like to, I probably won't be taking part this time around. Good luck hunters :)

Unfortunately i just grinded the 10k mission with only 2 globals, so, think this will be rather hard for most that don't have K's of peds to lose.
As i said before, it'll be some lucky peeps with only few kills that gets the big ones.

Is there a spawn @834,830 that I'm too blind to see ? Plus that's near Pandora, not Minopolis ... :eyecrazy:

I don't like feffs and molisk:eyecrazy:

hopefully we see a event like this with baby trox. ... ok, i know, some other ppl like molisk and hate trox :)
 
Seems my unluck passes on from event to event :). Was hunting these for 5 hours straight from the very beginning, witnessed all the three first 4-digits hofs, haven't got any globals and return is insanely bad. Back to missions grinding then.

This sounds like most of this events are! Molisk and Feffs, this mobs never gave good loot to me. That why i ask for trox. :ahh:
