I want to "re"color a pair of pants, but seem to be to noobish..
What am i doing wrong..

I have the Omegaton Colorator CCT-1, a bleaching attachment.
I have some paintcans, but when i place the pants in the TOOL
i get either JUST the option to bleach (Without the attachment)
or i get a yellow messege saying Items can only be bleahed bla bla...

So how do i do this..??

you need to Bleach the item first but you can only colour the clothing if you have the required skill to recolour it, each paint has a required skill and you need at least 200 tins of each colour per feild not sure if anything changed after VU 10 tho...

edit:- drag the bleaching attachment onto the gun first, you can also colour items with this on also it makes no difference

Ok...Good to know..Then im out

200Tins...wow

yeah thats usualy how many sometimes more depending on the level of the paint and the depth of the colour, same with textures :/

on a side note, you get 90%tt of the paints back in peds & coloring is still not availlable atm

Ummm...Yes it is..I just recolored my pants from green to Blue..
That is kind of THE only color i can use..LOL

hehe no you can use Yellow and Orange too

if you want to color something with a higher level paint you can ask a colorer (like me for example) :painter:

to get a 100% result it requires 325 cans or textures btw. if you have maxxed the paint. If you have not maxxed the paint you need 1k cans or lots of enhancers to get a 100% result.

LOL
So if i mix Blue and Yellow i get Purple right :yay:

Yea i know...Im just making sure you know what a noob i am in these
fields..
And i didn mean u put them in the same field/square..

So Blue, Yellow and Orange..Yellow and orange are quite common yes?

I have to check what mobs drop wich colors...

yes yellow and orange are quite often.
sabakumba drop lots of orange

Snarksnots drop a fair amount of orange as well . . . myself and a couple others have dubbed them "Paintcows" because of how much they can give (Personally, I have looted up to a stack of 80something cans of orange from a single creature)
