Everything sounded so exciting and then of course the bomb hits!!

So we FINALLY get a much needed update to the colouring system only to be told there is now a charge for changing clothes?! Terrific! Now people won't want to buy clothes or have them coloured anymore!! How to put all the Tailors and Colourers out of business in one fell swoop!

WTF are you thinking MA???!!!

No, they can complete the full set (armor and plate). It is just some data updates. No need to change the VU.

I know for the people that has not completed their set yet, there is no issue.

Give us back our protection :mad:

I can understand the motivation in terms of MA earning additional repair revenue from an additional piece but it is the cost to obtain the piece in the first place that is a show stopper.

Please give this some thought.

I think we dont need to worry more than usual:)

The "2 pecs" decay thing is , i think, a monstruous issue to increase a lot mega uber loot pools. At least, i hope :)

But indeed, thats TOTALY CRAP. What do they want ???,

They want EU become a super buisness place and Stop totaly the hunting or what ?

That piss off people with Uber high end armor, that piss off the noobs who start ingame cause they dont have so more money to repair all the time there armors !!

Im sure that many players here feel so pissed off, than they cant express there pain.

Give us back those foot guards !!

I guess the bank money wasn't enough for MA, yay footguards, more money to complete a set! But it's too laggy, so why not start taxing socialites, with your right hand you do something wonderful MA and then mess it up with your left.

Great going, just screw the playerbase out of more peds, it's not like we were losing any before anyways! :thumbup: /sarcasm
 
I am not disagreaing with you all that the 2 pec decay for just getting dressed is, well nicely put, not so apreciated. But fron what I can understand from the message it says nothing about taking it of again.
I am disapointed too about this part of the VU (excieted like h*ll about the rest though), but it always seems like that everyone here at EF is so extremly negative about everything (and maby even exadurating bad news).

I know that I am new in the game and dont change my gear that ofthen so it wont affect me as much either way, but before killing MA get it confirmed if you have to pay once or twise per armor for puting it on and taking it of, do you have to remove the armor to repair it and so on.

I laughed when i tryed to log on and saw the new "logging page" where i saw the new faces and good looks... cause it's going to be rare to see some of these ingame with all these masks/helmets, better to take a screenshot of our avatar face during the new creation process in order to print a poster for our wall lol.

The point is why should we have to pay at all to change our armour or clothes period!
 
Luckily i kept my OJ clothes. 0 ped value, so they can charge me all the way... guess i won't change them too often. Imagine the surprise i would have to go in game and notice a sudden 100 ped tt on each orange piece of clothes :(

So hunting got harder now we don't have full armour sets? Achilles heel VU :rolleyes:

I'd be really angry if I paid thousands for a uber set only to find part of me no longer protected by it due to this and vulnerable.

I hope it's not as bad as it looks once we get used to it.

if changing clothes/armor causes more lag, why did they add even more parts to the armor sets :confused:
 
To stop server lag... yeah right MA you have no idea how many complaints you are in line for... and that's just from me! Your servers will be crashing just under the weight of complaints. I have never seen a company piss off their customers so much... Idiots!

Are armor plates counted as armor as well?

I will post 10 complaints a day at least... oh and no more depositing until the 2pec decay is removed!!

It seems MA only thinks about money so why don't we all stop depositing for a week until this is fixed... I garantee we would see a fix implemented tomorrow!

Pointless VU. Sack the genius that thought of that one, implement a fix and say sorry to your customers before there is a mass exodus from the game.

I'm supprised there isnt a login fee.
 
righttt.....like everyone changes armor and clothes at the same time to increase the lag......bunch of bs and about the foot armor, "finally introduced" ??!! first i f**ken heard about it

for a game with less than 6k people actually playing your really pissing us off mindark...
 
I think MA got the message by now, maybe we better give them some time to think about it and respond to the community.

We should be aware that MA apparently does see a certain need to get more peds from us in order to pay for the new graphics. If they would cancel the equipping fee, they will take it somewhere else (eg lower payouts in loot). Even though we would not notice it directly (and probably all be happy about the cancellation of the current fee), we will pay in the end.

If MA sticks to the fee, I think we should apply the same rule as we do in our RL company : Let the money talk !
If they see a huge drop in armor decay income because we aren't wearing any armor anymore, they might reconsider it after all.
 
Nice work MA...

So, once I login I will have to do the following before anything else:

Repair all my clothes to full condition (4-500 PED).
Pay 2 PEC for each piece of clothing I take off and put back on after repairs.
Buy footguards for every piece of armour I own.
Buy an extra plate for every set of plates I own.
Sell all my tailoring materials because I can't use them.
Pay every time I put armour on or take it off.

After all that, I doubt i'll have any money to hunt so...thanks MA for making EU unplayable for me.
 
Too bad for MA, but I have to agree with the majority here. If it keeps on like this, it's just a matter of time before the game dies. Some VU's ago, it was just the standard complaining bunch at a new VU. There is no change without some people disliking it, that's just the way it is. But can you feel the energy from all these posts? People are just waiting for the big players and/or the more known ones to take the lead and make a protest they can not ignore... In fact, have a look at the names in this thread allready.... This IS the voice of the community and it aint a happy one...... and while the anger seems to grow, the number of members of this community itself seems to shrink.... I never complained openly on this forum before, but they are crossing my limit as well. Too bad, because this kills a lot of the fun of good additions, like the graphics and inventroy updates etc. They deserve appreciation as well, because it takes hard work, but unfortunately, the balance between pro's and cons is as good as the loot balance.....

Ok let's try the following as a support case:

Hi,

VU 9.0 is mostly a great VU which really would have improved the play enjoyment. But 2 changes really screwed things up.

1st) A 2 pec a piece decay on clothing and armor for each change of wearing.
This essentially killed all clothing manufacturing and sales in EU. No one will be changing clothes any more so the demand has dropped to almost 0.
Although the colouring has improved it has no use since no clothing will be sold.
The consequence of this is that a lot of the markup on looted ingredients for clothing and colouring will also drop to 0 making it really hard on hunters. Which will force them to hunt less which will result in less decay.

2nd) I had 11 complete armour sets now suddenly incomplete with the introduction of footguards. This also means that i will have to buy more armor plates to complete those sets to.

Because of this point and the previous point i have decided (and probably a lot of other players with me) to hunt lower mobs naked and save on armor decay.

Please reconsider these 2 changes since they greatly hurt the enjoyment of playing this game. They will also hurt MA economically since people will adapt their game play to get less decay on armor and clothes. This last part will hurt the ingame economy big time. As a consequence this will also hurt MA financially. Every one who had a bit of economics on school knows that increasing customer cost will drive the customers away and will give competition a bigger foothold. MA should do things to increase the player base and reduce the overall playing cost so people's enjoyment will increase.

2 pec Tax - How to avoid it.

:cussing: Like every one in the community, I'm royally piss about that tax.

The only way that I can see to protest again this tax is everyone when you log on please remove all your armors/clothes and put back on your OJ or underwear. We will hunt/mine or do what ever activity we in OJ. To hunt bigger mobs now we just have to hunt in team and not solo. That will show MA how much can they loose by forcing some idiotic tax on to us.

I know I do this for as long as it take to get the tax remove from the game.

No more armor wearing = no more decay + 2 pec tax.

Let get together every one. Go on strike and let MA know of their Bullshit tax.:mad::whisper:
 
Is it possible to log in? when i try to launch the client in the client window a pop up message appears with the words critical error.:mad:

Really MA you have gone way to far this time, I very un happy with armor boots thing! and if you can change this what elese can you change?

I have full supremacy , full eon, nemesis and other armors, if I have to get special boots for all of my sets we talking very big money.


I am very unhappy with the clothing tax since I own a lot of very good looted outfits.


So IM going to see if common sense will prevail in MA but my hopes are not to high.


If things keep going like this MA I will soon be selling out, cashing out and im sure many others will do the same.. After they cash out and get there money then people can say the truth about pe to anyone that will listen including media and government officials.

Also your new policy for not returning items in TT is very unfair since your system has so much lag and bugs…. Its understandable for maybe really cheap items.. but if it’s a MM / Mod fap/ Terminator or Aimk2 you think it fair not to return a 30,000 USD item because of some mistake? Does that give your investors any confidence in you product?

I was really hoping for a vu that I could be happy and proud of, but so far the only impression I have is see what my aviator looks like, don’t wear armor and maybe put on my oj’s…. see what goes on then sell out if things don’t improve.

And this makes me very sad because I worked so hard to make Nicole for over 4 years.

And what will be the point of Facial Expressions?

Why stop at foot guards - medieval armour had codpieces too.

The Umbranoids have undoubtedly been removed because the new graphics makes them look pornographic. Wonder how much clothing they will be wearing when they return?
