Freyr & Sodiak Proudly Presents :

Defend your Claim

A new mining event series on CND. A chance for all the miners out there to prove yourself against others. You've seen CL, Global Madness, Pink Saturday. All hunters playground. Now it's time for all the good miners out there to get their glory. It will be a 10 event series with a total prizepool of over 6500 ped!

The events will take place in all the domes on CND. Time for the events are going to be Thursdays at 21.00 MA and it's a 1 hour event each time. There will be live commentary in every event and great music to be played. Will give a more detailed discription of rules, regulations and scoring later on but here are a few pointers to get the idea. There is going to be three different ways to win the events. First off is the Highest Single loot. Easy to understand, easy to judge. Second is Most Claims. The miner that have gotten the most claim during the event win. Third is Highest Total loot. Miner with highest total loot in the event win,

After each event 8 miners will recieve points for the event series, points distributions to follow. Also as we have no option for turning off the hunting part in the events there will be a small prize for the one getting the highest single hunting loot in each event.(Every event will be highest single loot for hunting).

Rules

Because MA havn't implemented a way to automaticly see mining points in an event this will have to be a screenshot event. The normal screenshot rules apply with C & P (Time & Position), and all screenshots must be with your claimdeed open and claim size visable. All screenshot must be posted within 48 hours after the event have ended to count.

Highest Single: The miner with the highest single loot wins this event. Points for the remaining places will be given out according to highest claim size posted. If there is a tie the points will be split among the minets with the same size claims. This only apply if the claim is below global/hof value, if global/hof it's that value that counts for the event points.
For example, miner 1 wins event with 156 ped global. Miner 2 gets 68 ped and miner 3 59 peds. Then we don't have a tie even tho they have the same claim size. if miner 2 and 3 would have gotten a large deposit, >49 peds, the points will be split between them.

Most Claims: The miner with most number of claims wins this event, no matter of size. All the claims the miner gets in this event is counted. If we have a tie here the miner with the highest total value of claim (size only) wins the event, and same for remaining places.

Highest Total: The miner with the most total claimsize value wins this event. All the claims the miner gets in this event is counted. If we have a tie here the miner with the least amount of claims win.

Please be patient, we know there will be a lot of screenshots for this. But we really want miners to have a good event, don't want to wait for MA to implement it. So this is unfortunatly the only way.
