So i was looking around my account info, and figured i'd take a look at my deposits to see how much money i've lost over the past year---I only glanced, and didnt count...because i knew it would be quite a bit for a mid lvl player like myself with no gear or anything really except for some skills to show for it...but i figured, hell, why not post it and see how others stack XD: (removed dates and times---but the start date was nov 8 2008--(and I had a break from rhe game from feb of this year to july!))

From 20 Feb 2009 till 24 Sep 2009 I made 80usd depo ...

I was happy to loose it all :laugh:
 
what shows this list? peds or USD? or Euros or pounds or oil and lyst hehe

Whether or not this is ped or US deposit does not matter you have a very serious gambling problem.:eek:

And anyone else does this or even comes close or over it needs to seek professional help.;)

Depends entirely on your play style. I know people ingame whose deposit list looks like that for the last MONTH alone...
...so now you can understand a lot of peoples sentiments about MA's lack of loot, especially after a deposit list like that!


BTW a tactic that I know of that is done, is to keep stockpiling a *LOT* of one thing, even if it means depositing a regular sum of money, just so that when the market on something you're stockpiling peaks, you can sell it and make top dollar - which you could then (theoretically, anyway) withdraw. I knew a few traders that did this on a regular basis with things like hides & wools, and ores as well - especially those ores that fluctuated a lot. So the question should be...
...How much of that deposit amount do you have sitting in storage? :D
 
if probably is $, so since last nov you've spent that. good thing no one is forcing you to do it, and only you are in charge who depos and when ;D
 
Thos figures are PED surely? Who actually deposits unrounded off totals into this game. The length of the list would indicate less of an addict to me than someone that deposited $10.50 just to squeeze that extra 50c out.

Can you even deposit less than whole dollars?

Those figures are PED , 100% sure.

To be honest, that isn't very bad at all. I know plenty of people who have spent much more, and I mean much more.

Some people do make more money than others in real life and can afford to deposit a lot, to have fun and others can't. Your game play also affects your deposit style.

27k ped, I mean really, just take a look at how much good armor costs / UL weapons / faps etc.

The amount aren't whole because of the transaction fee that is charged, 4% (or whatever their fee is)to MA when depositing.

Example:
So for $100.00 USD you get 965 ped.
 
so about $50 a week..

It's funny that I waste that much a week on cigerettes. I would prefer keep my health and spend it on entertainment.

Chronos I`m not sure what you are chasing. I must be a god to survive on what I have deposited in 4 years. It`s all in the playing style I guess. And that all important thing patience!

I understand the tactic of a reseller to deposit when the need arises, that type of a deposit is a investment.
But to deposit multiple times just to hunt, mine or craft and have little to no return or anything to show for it is a addiction to me.
Myself i have only 3 deposits over a years time, first was for 1k US more of a trial run with the investment.
Then a couple more small ones for fun play.
Since MA has cut back on loot i have cut way back on play.

I've enjoyed for a good majority of that 27k, but other times i depo'd out of frustration(swirlie chasing), sometimes to buy some semi expensive item, only to turn around and sell it after i lose a hefty sum of ped on it/with it.

I feel somewhat ashamed of the amount, but at the same time, I realize that if i didnt spend the money on something that i enjoyed doing, it would just be spent on something else frivolous that i didnt need, only to be thrown away after i got bored with it.

I'm not a reseller(although i did just profit 150 peds off of reselling something i really wanted, but when i got it i realized that i wasnt ready for it), so there's not much sitting in my storage except for dup. bps and random lower lvl stuff not worth anything close to the depo amt.

Offtopic:
I had a dream last night that my gf had a camo arms jungle stalker just sitting on her toon(which she doesnt have, b/c she doesnt play), and she had no idea what it was worth :laugh:

Hehe, U know what always used to happens to me when I am mashed? I'd think everyone played PE, and I start talk to em about it and i talk complete shite ofcourse..
