Hey all, new DJ here and it's great to be a part of AHR! :D

I will be having my first show tomorrow, Sunday 3-6 UTC (Saturday 8pm-11pm for my fellow PST folk), woohoo! :yay:

The goal for my show will be to focus on varying types of music with each show. I foresee the model listeners of my shows to be those with open minds and eclectic tastes; someone who is eager to learn about music as much as I am, someone who wants to hear it all! :)

My shows will range from Punk, to Jazz, to Electro, to Hip-Hop, to Disco, and absolutely everything in-between, before or after. I will also do some soundtrack shows here and there.

This forthcoming show is a bit of a test, there is no set genre for this particular show. I will be playing my favorite Dubstep, House/Electro-House, and Drum'n'Bass tracks of 2009 thus far. Although this may become a regularly appearing show format seeing as these genres, especially D'n'B, are the ones I am most entrenched in. :D

Here is a taste of what to expect tomorrow...

This song in particular will not be played (sorry, I want it all to be a surprise) but I chose it because you can also grab the MP3 for free! (Legally)

Sub Focus - Smooth (Free MP3 Download)

I hope you're all listening tomorrow, see you then!

Yup, for sure! I'm sure I'll do some shows in the near future with some more classic tracks, it feels odd to do a DnB show without any Konflict, Dillinja, Source Direct, Shy FX, etc, etc, etc. ;)

I was already thinking of making every other show a DnB show, but I was skeptical if there would be an audience for that, now I am much less skeptical about that. ;)

You could use some better playlists.
Sending PM atm.

I haven't posted any playlists yet. :silly2:

I did receive your PM though and I welcome anyone who wants to recommend stuff for me to check out or give any suggestions to PM me.

ill try to tune in of course :)

I will be posting the tracklist right after the show is done, but since I won't be mixing (turntables are in storage atm :() I would feel uncomfortable uploading my show seeing as it would be equal to just uploading the MP3s themselves in their entirety.

to be honest, this music reminds me of 1996 computer games on the PC...and AMiGA music back in the days...

ooops:yay:

You may have heard this since the release of the ATARI & C64 :D

Pac-Man the birth of electronica :silly2:

"computer games haven't influenced a generation, come on. I mean if they had we would have millions of kids running around in dark rooms, munching pills, listening to repetitive music and chasing ghosts"
