Easter Eggs removed from boxes?

Imo they should replace easter eggs with mayhem easter eggs for boxes. But it appears they opted for Modified Neurostim. Which according to wiki is even more superior than easter eggs.
 
I opened some Easter boxes and I can confirm that I haven't got any Easter eggs.
 
The Easter Eggs from boxes before were 5 PED I believe and could be refined to UA.

The Easter Egg I just got from completing an Annihilation points stage shows 0 PED TT value.
 
Yes, eggs from boxes were 5ped TT and eggs from mayhems always were 0tt.
 
Mod neurostim looks nice, are they tradable? Also, do they appear in same freq than eggs used to?
 
I got a few eggs... the same day the mayhem started
