entropia tracker screenshots are all black. Why?

Hi,

As a newcomer I just found out about the entropia tracker.
Installed it today and all seems to work fine except the screenshots.

The tracker does seem to make screenshots, but they're all black.

I also noticed that any regular screenshot I make also is just a black screen.
So it seems not to be a problem with the tracker but just my PC.

Does anybody has any idea how come my entropia screenshots are black?

use 64 bit and change fullscreen mode from regular to windowed in the options

Does that mean screenshots only work in windowed mode?

It does work now btw, but I'm wondering if this is the only work around. In windowed mode I cant alt-tab my screen away anymore

*edit* in windowed mode I can only run 1280x720. This sucks because I'm normally running 1920x1080.

WIN 10 ? - only window mode will work.

Options - graphics Fullscreen Mode - Windowed works for me with 1920X1080

I only play in full screen mode and EL takes good screenshots for me.

PS. I use windowed mode a couple times annually for mining, cause LBML is way too useful to ignore.
PSS. and using Win10 64-bit

Edit: I'll have to check my settings and see if I somehow got it to do full screen in a windowed mode??? Not sure if that's possible.

Full screen windowed best feature evar.

Full screen apps not windowed in Windows 10 are in protected space. So it will always turn out this way.

Ok, the screenshots work, so that's solved.

But next problem, how can I increase my resolution in windowed mode to 1920x 1080?


*edit* I seem to be able to get it to 1768x992, but not any higher

Ticked some boxes, set some sliders, added some grease here and there and it seems to work now

I'm resurrecting this very old thread; the solution in Windows 10 64-bit is,
Right click your Entropia.exe (it's in bin32 and bin64 folders respectively. If you use 32 bit Windows 10, do the next step only for bin32 Entropia.exe)
Click Properties and then Compatibility window.
From there, check "Disable fullscreen optimizations"

and here you go! Enjoy the automatic screenshot utility for your HoFs and Globals in EntropiaLife Tracker application

Just wanted to say this may have also fixed the same issue we were having on LBML.
