I thought I would repost this here, in case anyone missed it:

Mercury: Q: When are bank cards FOR SURE going to be back? (sidenote) Why were they removed so quickly and with such short notice? Why did 1 month become 8 months +?
Marco_MindArk: Because we underestimated the level of work and the time needed to get a good and reliable partner on board with the Cash Cards. The banking world is very conservative and bearucratic and things just takes a lot of time. For instance, just getting ..
Marco_MindArk: a design approaval of the actual card can take 3 months, and any changes made will take one additional month.
Marco_MindArk: We want the Cash Cards out as soon as possible, as we see them as a part of the withdrawal strategy, to easily and fastly get money in AND OUT of Entropia.

So, basically, am I going to have a cashcard for my entropia account or not and if so what in the name of all thats holy will this cost me?

PS., If I was to take the Entropiauniverse website seriously then from the date of agreement, namely when I make my purchase, there will be no fees and that is the agreement that i will have signed up to.

MindArk, are the transactions free? If not you had better publish before you get too many disgruntled gamers who feel that they have signed up for a free service.

I am pretty sure MA whant those cash card back in system pretty fast.
Its seems the old cash card had a good success , and from i see , it have bring som confidence and trust from player (investor) to be abel get back money fast.

IMHO , cash card is a very importand key feature to bring entreneur and medium investor in EU...

MA whant people that make their living from EU as PR stunt , and those people will only exist if cash card come...

I guess next VU take them lost of time as all the convention , and we all know MA iw always late...
Give them 2 more month , and you will have som fresh news.

Where on the EU site did you find information regarding the card agreement? I'm having trouble tracking down any specific info regarding the cards at all.

I hate to say this but, this may be really bad news for US players.

MA is already on shaking ground because much of what players do could be considered gambling. Meaing US players may end up getting the boot when the Internet Gambling Bill is inacted in July.

Now, MA may be in a gray area seeing as it isn't really a casino or a poker room.

Still, some US citizens are already having issue depositing with their credit cards because some issuers are playing it safe and just denying US players the ablility to deposit via a credit card.

If US players are banned from depositing or withdrawing via a credit card and MA is still permitted to accept US players other means will need to be presented at that time for them.

if THIS happens.. i am selling out faster than you can say spit .. if i can not access via cc .. there is NO way i am staying. !!

If there is a reason for the delay I think the customers deserve an explanation and a new shipping date. The current withdrawl system sucks. No one should have to wait 2 to 3 months to withdrawl when you take deposits via electronic transfer and receive our deposits within a business day or two.

We are impatiently awaiting more information about the Cash Cards ourselves. As soon as we get more information about final delivery date and other aspects of the card from the card issuer we will post them on our website.
