Thank you for your patience during the extended downtime earlier today.

The MindArk development team implemented several important infrastructure upgrades and improvements that appear to have resolved the recent server performance and lag issues.

Additional improvements are planned over the next several weeks that will hopefully further improve the stability and capacity of Entropia Universe to deliver the best possible experience.

Please report any problematic server issues or bugs via a support ticket on the EntropiaUniverse.com website.

Getting connection lost exactly at 4 minute mark - 6th time in a row now....

Can't connect - several times - socmates reporting massive lag spikes - NOT FIXED!!

7th connection lost in 2:30 mins

8th connection lost 3:00 mins

OK I'm done BETA test

FAILED

See you next week!

Edit - seems like the disconnect was on my end - firefox or the theta node - disconnects seem to have stopped - maybe it was internet activity

I know the problem is in the global warming.
You know that the sun rises with each passing minute, through which its radiation waves reach have a stronger effect on the Earth's atmosphere. This effect is stronger on the poles where temperatures are lower and there are glaciers. These glaciers are melting and this affects the altitude, rivers and lakes from which power plants draw resources (water for electricity). These plants are not from the natural ecosystem, so the inflow of more water must be balanced by people who support these power generation systems. Once the electricity is obtained, it must reach us, and these power plants are not close to the settlements, for security reasons. In order for the electricity to reach our homes safely, substances are used, through which this energy is distributed depending on the needs of the settlement. After this long process, we have electricity through which we use our home appliances. Once we have a flow of electricity to our computers, we power transistors and microchips that convert this electricity into a so-called binary system (0/1 .. there is / no current .. on / off .. yes / no, etc. ). But in order for it to make any sense and be a computer on a different device from a refrigerator or stove (which have one main function), this binary system has numerous subfunctions that form the so-called Operating System (Windows, for example). The main purpose of the OS is to easily access these commands, that is, the computer does not know what command we will give it to execute. The Internet, like power plants, uses sub-centers (Earth-based; Satellites in space), to which we connect to access more remote parts of the world. Now imagine clicking the mouse button on your in-game storage. We are left with the impression that this is easily accessible, but in fact it is not. This simple push is actually a command from the operating system that converts it into a binary file, which can then only be used for the Internet, but this extra energy requires the extra amount of energy we need to ask the power plant. Once the additional energy is delivered from our power plant, our computer is ready to submit our request via the Internet, and its subcenters apply for the implementation of the other computer (the game server), which also needs electricity, which must also be supplied by another power plant. It's not very simple and hence the main problem with the delay we have for a simple mouse click. But if all this still seems simple to you, there is an additional complication of the moon, which affects the earth, ie tides, which in their own way change the altitude and the change of river flow. Atmospheric warming in different parts of the earth is gradually changing, but the difference between the lunar and solar effects on the water is different and this process must be balanced by the group of specialists in each power plant. This is almost impossible to happen in sync, because none of these experts know in advance whether we would like to open the Storage in our game. But even if some of these specialists have accumulated experience and a sense of what is expected, the problem remains the main problem with the approaching sun, which has uncontrollable energy, which independent of power plant specialists.

So the problem is in the Global Warming, the problem has nothing to do with the Internet. We should be grateful to MA and the specialists from these power plants for still synchronizing their work in just a few minutes. I am grateful, I hope most of you here, for the hard work you do. Our patience is at the end of the whole complex process.

We had a big lagspike (loot lag) for 2 minutes around 20 minutes ago. After this lagspike the loot is looting normally. I guess this is one of the new improvements. One thing that is still a problem is the fact when you're using autoloot and you experience loot lag the mob corpses won't be looted until the lag has passed. If you don't have an autoloot pill then you can loot it manually and the mob will be looted but you won't get your loot until the lag is over. This way it allows you to loot manually and still move away from the radius of the autoloot pill and keep hunting unhindered. I hope you can improve how the autoloot functions so it also works the same way as manually looting a mob. Then it wouldn't matter if we have loot lag since we're guaranteed to always get our loot no matter what.

Edit: lagspike occured again aprox 2h later, again for 2 minutes. Now looting is normal again. The problem with autoloot still is something that is a problem and should be fixed. It forces people to stay still for 2 minutes so the mobs get looted within autoloot radius.

Whatever you deem having fixed, be aware: it's not fixed!
