probably not possible with the way that Mindark, PPs, and LA owners operate now, but it'd be nice if you could sell stuff in a shop for below +1 (ok, below +1.02 with 2 pecs in taxes)... under the current tax scheme, it wouldn't work, but if they revised it a bit, it might.

Thats not entirely true, UBER items is offered for sale quit often.
Actually there is a MM SGA offered for 96k PED.
A few month back THE TERMINATOR was offered for 500k PED

Mod and Imp FAPs offered regularly, too

Shadow Sets, PoE set, Sprem Set I have seen last few month for sale too.

It just matters, is anyone who want to become UBER ready to pay the money that actual UBER holding the item wants for it.

There is also nice events, that reward with really good UBER gear, ok you need to be UBER already to win that (not only gear matters, skill matters too). After that events there is often something really good for sale, too.
