Help: Games not working :(

hey all

i just downloaded the V10 patch installed it and tried to run the game but i was greeted by this message *This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem* i have reinstalled 3 times and no luck restarted pc after install and uninstall and still not working...
anyone have any ideas to get this working?
