Description
This looted armor has exceptionally good protection against electricity. The special multi-polarized coating is able to efficiently divert and redirect high-voltage electricity away from the armor.

Notes
Thunderbird has the highest electric protection of any armour making it the best choice for big electric MOBs:
Allophyl: Not ideal for Allo as there better eco choices, but if you put some electric plates on it is good for the big ones (Alpha up).
Bristlehog: Again Thunderbird is an overkill except for the real big ones (use Ghost 6B instead)
Cersumon: Best armour for these, add some electric plates and anyone with an average gun could take on up to old, with good skills and equipment you can take on any Cersumon.
Eviscerator: Best armour for these, add some 6B or 5B plates and anyone with an average gun could take on up to Gen.5. Gen.6 and above will do average damage per hit over 20 (up to 60 for Gen.10).
Oculus: Best armour for these, add some electric plates and anyone with an average gun could take on up to Provider.
Repesilex: Thunderbird is over-protection except for Stalkers.
Tantardion: Thunderbird is over-protection except Dominant up.
Tezlapod: Thunderbird is over-protection except Dominant up.
Trilomite: Thunderbird is over-protection except Old-Apha up.
Plates
As Thunderbird is best for electric MOBs, you will want electric plates (although 5Bs are OK for Eviscerator as they also do stab damage).
Here is all the electric plates and their electric protection:
4B-2, 1C-5, 4D(L)-8, 4C-9, 6B-12, 5E(L)-23
Obtaining Thunderbird
Most parts sell for under 110% making it good value, but it's not too hard to loot a set, it took me about a week and a half to loot an entire set:
Arms - Atrax, Feffoid, Legionaire
Foot - Thorafoid
Gloves - Ambulimax
Harness - Formicacio, Thorio, Eviscerator
Helmet - Atrax, Feffoid, Eviscerator
Shin - Ambulimax
Thigh - Thorio, Big Bulk
Summary
If you want to hunt Cersumon, Eviscerator or Oculus then there is no better armour, Thunderbird even beats all the uber armours on these MOBs. Get some 6B plates or 5E(L)s for maximum protection. As this armour is cheap and highly available, I think every mid-level hunter should have a set.
