Each time I try too start up EU, it downloads a few files and then nothing. Not even an error message. I've already downloaded the full client and installed it.

Help a newbie out?

so... describe the problem a bit more detailed?

are you running vista? if so, just right-click the icon and choose "run as admin"... works for me

It doesn't look like that is the problem, but just for future:
* admin in vista
* check minimum requirements
* allow to connect in firewall
* check for virus and spy programes
