any ideas why people only saw me on the ground??

Has always been like that as long as the body physics came into the game. I myself and many others have been hung up in the fence like that but on other people's screens it still shows them on the ground or on a different part of the fence. Maybe CryEngine will be different ;D

The thing causing that might be that every computer calculates the physics by itself, so computers with dedicated PhysX cards are able to calculate the "flight path" better than computers without..

That results in a small difference that may make you hang from the fence on one computer and lie on the ground on another.
