ah too late for the poll, i was busy busy ingame :)

Here's how it looks.

The relative %s of each health division:

How the %s have changed since last year's poll:

A cumulative graph which shows what proportion are above or below a particular division:

A year-on-year comparison of the data I've collected with these polls since 2009:

The difference between each year's proportions and the 2009 numbers:

By the nature of a PCF poll, this may say as much or more about the forum as it does about the EU population, so bear that mind when trying to draw conclusions from this.

Thanks to everyone who provided their information for the poll.

Either young entropians don't read PCF in 2012 or there are simply not much of those.

In years gone by we all started on Calypso, now there are 5 choices and 5 forums. Not every planet start is "adequate" to retaining that new player IMO.

The poll graphs do seem to show long term players (161hp+) appear to keep playing and keep skilling though.

Something interesting I noticed is that whereas in the previous three polls there has been a local peak at the 151-160 mark, that peak seems to have shifted this year up to the 171-180 division. This is also reflected in the graph showing the one-year change, in which 171-180 has the greatest increase of any of the divisions.

One possible explanation might be that over the last year or so some additional health-generating activities have been introduced (space skills, treasure hunting). I wouldn't have thought that the average player would have added as much as 20 HP from those skills over the last year, but maybe I'm misled by my own lack of diversity :D

I feel like I got a C- on a test! :ahh:
