Question: How to level up my pet?

Hello everyone!

Now that forest battles are limited to 10/day, how are you guys leveling up your pets?

I started a new account today (since it seems I can't use my old one after the last update), and I have a level 4 pet.

Can't fight in the forest anymore, because of the 10/day limit.

Can't find opponents on arena.

Can't build the gym yet, as it requires a level 4 residence, and mine is level 3.

I think imposing a limit on forest battles is not the way to go here...

You can send pets on a quest. But I agree the 10 a day bites.

Raid unprotected bases, collect gold, fight in the arena.

Assuming all that is turned on for the second round of beta. I've not tried it.

Atm every account starts with 50kped and 50k diamonds, enough to train a pet to lvl24 in the gym and upgrade most buildings to lvl10 - afterwards however it gets quiet - as noone seems to be around to fight and the lvl10 goldmines are certainly taking forever to fill up a lvl10 vault which has 3.600.000 gold storage capacity.
