Alot of new L versions of Bear, Boar, Jaguar and Tiger has been discovered recently.
This will probably bring those armors to a more players but what will happen with the UL versions of the armors?
The L version have better decay according to some long thread with a lot of test so eventually all will use L versions of armors...or?
The bad thing about L is that you need to go through auction over and over to find a piece. And if the droprate of L versions is low, probably the markup will be rather high on a L version.
But the price on the UL versions, what do you guys think will happen, for I'm sure that all L will have some effect on the price of UL.

I would guess a lot depends on your point of view. L armor drops at less then full tt have limited value due to their shortened life expectancy. Maybe L armor drops at full tt all the time, I do not know, I have not received an L armor loot yet. The rate of drop for any item will influence both price and usage of the item. Either way I am sure they will not be put in the corner of some storage container to collect dust.

As for UL armor? I suspect they will go the way of UL version of L weapons, that is increasing in price due to rarity. The UL armors of today and yesterday may just become the uber items of tomorrow. Their value may very well increase over time due to rarity, regardless of their level of protection or TT value.

My thought is that UNL armors will actually be more expensive, since they will become more rare, cus I think more L will drop and lesser UNL.
And ofc is cheaper to buy a L jag, but if u attend to actually use like a normal played would, it will be gone in a mather of short time, and u have to buy a new set. And after a while u've used alot more money on L armor instead of just buying the UNL one.
So all in all, I think the prices on UNL armor wont go down, but up!

IMHO, all (L) armor that is not in ample supply is useless, because you cannot replace it once it wears out. The exception to this are the specialist PK armors, that last a very long time due to its very limited use.
A great general purpose armor like Jaguar or Tiger decays fast. There will never be a ready supply of replacement parts, moreover, even aquiring a full set will be all but impossible, making it less desirable.
The alternative for MA would be to start dropping it like Pixie. And we all know the chances of that happenening...

Nope, it doesn't, just like (L) weapons.

As with all the other (L) armors, unless they are plentiful enough to sell for < 120% or have some unique level of protection not available elsewhere, the UL armor will always be more economical to use and thus won't be much impacted.

First, a correction - none of these new looted L armours have started dropping yet except for Jag, and I don't think we have even discovered all of the L Jag parts yet. I expect the other armours will be coming soon.

(EDIT: Just seen that the first Bear L has been looted today too)

The big question is how often they will drop, and any changes to the economy will be determined by the drop rate (and whether the drop rate of the unlimited versions also changes).

So, it's really impossible to answer your question at the moment without knowing this - but I'll do my best :)

I hope that the L pieces will drop relatively frequently, such that its feasible to camp the appropriate mobs to loot, say, Full Limited Jaguar without having to spend 6 months looking for it. If they are too rare (and therefore have too high a markup), then virtually no-one will bother with these armours, as it'll be too hard and expensive to put together a full set (either by looting them or buying them).

I also hope that the unlimited pieces will continue to drop at least at the current rate. Signs look good for that, having seen several unlimited Jag pieces in loots posted here since the L Jag started to appear.

If the L parts are common enough, the unlimited parts should see a price reduction, but probably not a large one. I expect people will still be paying 20k+ for Jag in a year's time.
