Intel Core i5?

Could you run a Intel Core i5 with ATI Radeon HD 5970 on ultra high? Like with no problems? or do you need i7

i5 is fine. i7 is it is better for crossfire or sli but crysis does not support dual cards so no advantage there.

Can't help with the gfx as I use gtx 280
