Hi, noob here. I just started the game and there is something I'm having troubles with. When I find a creature, is there any way in the user interface for me to find out about how hard the thing will be for me to fight? Right now I am coming to the forums and looking at their reputation as a rough estimation of their difficulty but when I looked up one I saw a screen shot of what appears to be part of the user interface

is this part of the GUI or is it something I can't get access to?

Thanks in advance for any help

you should read the "noobs corner" here on EF, and ask around. most ppl will help you with some advice.

snable, exarosaur, daikiba, combibo, berycled are the most common noob mobs.

What you linked to is a scan of the animal. You can buy an "Investafoe" scanner from the trade terminal.

I prefer to run in windowed mode and have a few tabs of entropiawiki.com going since it provides much more information on everything than scans do.

A scan will show you what you see in the picture you linked, but entropedia will tell you how many hp each maturity has, what kind of damage it does and how much damage, and how agressive they are.

hope you have fun,

Also use entropiatools.com weapon power and economy calculator to see how many seconds it will take you to kill that creature

Best suggestion by far, creatures section gives you all you need including dmg type and what you can expect to loot from each mob ...handy if you're building an armour set up. There can be a big difference between maturities of mob and the harm they can do to you...it's all there and hasn't changed much so it's still worth reading.

Scanning doesn't tell you half as much and can get you dead.
