If you are getting a javascript error from the client loader since the last VU, you probably have a custom hosts file which prevents your browser from visiting most malware and advertising sites.

To fix this issue, edit your hosts file, and locate the following text...

127.0.0.1 www.google-analytics.com

then just add a # to the beginning of that line, and save the hosts file.

# 127.0.0.1 www.google-analytics.com

This will allow the client loader to download the javascript file it needs from google. It seems as if Mindark is trying to get usage statistics from their client base.

If you have been affected by this, please post a quick note.

PS: the hosts file is located typically in the c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc directory. (if you're not getting a javascript error from the client loader, then you don't have to worry about this at all)

This was caused when MA returned the Headline News to the client loader.

It seems there has been a copy/paste (with some modifications) of some code and the Google analytics javascript code came along.

I didn't get this error as i love to be spammed with ads :D, i just keep a close eye on MA's webpages :silly2:

If you look closer you will also see remains of the image maps MA uses to build the menu on the left of their web pages.
