JIIIS AutoScreen and Personal Tracker

[Hetman]

I would like to present you my last project: JIIIS AutoScreen and Personal Tracker. This application has two main usages:

- AutoScreen - making avatar / team global autoscreens
- Personal Tracker - presenting miscellaneous information from EU log files (chat.log and private_chat.log) in user friendly way

This application in comparison to other similiar ones is and will be always free to use for everybody, no registration. This application is also safe, it doesn't use internet connection. And as it uses third party screenshot maker (i.e. FRAPS) there should be no problem with making screens in any Windows version.

I have put all effort to make it bug free, but its almost impossible to check all possibilities and to foresee all possible situations, so if You will find any issue with application letme know here please.

Looks good tried it and keep getting (numbers "is not a valid Floating Point" ) What is that...it comes up when i attack, heal etc different numbers for different actions ?

Also not getting auto skills gain updates and the paths are set correctly?

Im prob not doing something right

Cea: there is no information about mining logged into chat.log EU file (except skill gains), and as my application is based only on it I can't do anything about mining if MindArk would put in chat information about your claim type and size when you find deposit it would be awesome possibility to develope mining tracker

hm, that can be an issue with a way your system handles decimal separator, it may be bug which affects lot of ppl, if yes I will patch it soon

have you clicked on button to start logging? are log files in a path where Configuration page points to? turn on logging globals, all peoples globals are logged?

yes everything is setup as your help manual describes. Globals on Chat logging enabled for all, paths correctly set etc. I get those floating value errors for skills gains aswell as for tool use. So nothing shows appart from those error boxes..

ok, it's almost for sure issue with that system decimal separator, I am sorry you have this bug, and probable a lot more ppl will have it, fix will be ready till Monday, I wish I could do it at moment, but no time :/

in Control Panel -> regional settings:

(its in Polish )

but you have to be very careful with it, as it may affect other programs, I will answer other questions tomorrow evening, have nice weekend guys

ok, now you are a bit more clear, from your first post it seemed that you blamed me about spying users computers, at least it seemed that way for me, and for sure for some other ppl, I don't wanna bad PR here as I put really a lot of heart and hours to this application, sorry about stfu then, peace, please be more detailed next time

what way I am collecting information about other players? you mean that their globals can be tracked by single user on his own computer? please give me some more details so I can comment then

EDIT:

let me explain how program works, maybe you lack some information here you run this application on your own computer, Entropia Universe has possibility to save all you see on chat to chat.log file, my application is searching that file for information it can present (i.e. friend globals, hunting stats, etc.), it shows this information only to user who runs my application, all is done on one computer without sharing that data to anybody, so simply what one guy can see on EU chat he can also see on my application, where is spying?

i see now, your program works differently from other existing tracker program, tbh i didn't know that all the globals & hofs were all stored in the chat log. I though it was an historic of a few days or a week but finally no.

So yes, your program don't spy more than the EU chat log

great that we explained now everything our previous argue was unnecesary, sorry for it and for -rep

as application title says its "Personal Tracker"

EDIT: back to main thread, if your windows uses dot decimal separator program wont work correctly, I will work out fix

You can remove previously downloaded application and use this one, or if you have any information tracked at the moment you can just replace EXE file and delete save_hunting.cvs file before running application.

few advantages of mine:

- it is and it will be always free to use -> no registration need
- no interet connection need -> safe
- no interaction with EU except reading EU chat logs files and saving its backup
- it should take autoscreens in every operating system, in every condition, as you use it i.e. with FRAPS, I found only one limit till now, you dont have autoscreen when you autocrafts and watch movie (movie screen is catched), but its not common situation for ppl

if ppl will encourage me with positive feedback it will be developed when I only have some spare time so it will contain more options, what is coming in v1.1 you can see on project page

I know nothing but would it be hard to let us choose our favorite "Hotkey" for the screenshot thing?

I always used "Prt.Sc." key with my screenshots apps and if I have to set it on F12, I will most probably and when I'll miss my screenshots outside Entropia.

yes, it's in plans to extend keys to F1-F12 and also Print Screen

I chose F12 at beginning as its not used inside Entropia to change Action sets

btw. F12 is just next to PrintScreen

2 questions :

- when there is an automatic screenshot, the fps counter moves. Was upper right, then was lower left. Is it Fraps or you soft ?

- could you add the Tier increase information ?

1. it's your FRAPS check that you configured (or FRAPS itself) changing FPS position with F12 key

2. yes, its on TODO list, there is a lot of nice things which can be added, I just need some time

Added to vu1.1 also: tracking user sessions ingame (time), tracking claimed deposits, extracted deposits, extraordinary finds, hit ratio (after providing bombs amount)
